Reclaim Your Life! - by Leslie Smith

There is much to be said about those who are living the role of ‘victim' at this time. Maybe you have been playing this part for quite some time. Maybe you have been hurt over and over again in this life, and all you feel like saying is ‘‘Why me?''

Why do we have to suffer? Most of us have gone through some things we can label as pretty terrible. Some of us are going through these things right now. We may not be able to see over the hill that leads to freedom from whatever we feel is weighing us down, whatever we feel may be keeping us from the life that we want to live. We may blame this on our parents, our other relatives, or the relationships we have gone through or are currently going through. We may blame it on our jobs, our bosses, our employees, and the list could go on and on for days.

What I'm about to say will be the first time hearing it for some people. And for others, you are coming to, or have already come to this realization.

You and you alone, are holding yourself back from living the life you dream of.

You do not have to be the victim any longer, unless you choose to be. If you haven't read my blog called ‘The Greatest Gift', I encourage you to go and read through it right now.

You and you alone, are responsible for the life you are leading today. You and you alone are the Creator of your life.

You hold within yourself a very powerful force. There is no time to blame others for where you are standing today. There is no time to say ‘poor me' anymore. It is now time to stand up, and re-claim your life. Begin today! Use this time, and use this moment, to make a choice. Don't let other people that have been in your life, and that are in your life today, create your life for you! When you let others create your life, you have given your power away! When your thoughts linger in the past, and you find yourself mulling over something someone said that caused you pain, or if you feel like getting back at them, you have stepped down into a lower vibration, a negative thought pattern. When you do this, you have given your power away!

Your Spirit, above all else, calls to you. Spirit whispers in your ear. Have you paid attention to the whispers? Spirit tells you that you are magnetic. Whatever thoughts you are holding will attract more of the same to you. Spirit says that you are Precious and Perfect. Open your eyes and make the choice to create your life the way you want it to be.

Reclaim your life!
