Transformation Through Self-Talk - by Leslie Smith
I have realized that when we begin to talk to ourselves, out loud, that we can have some really transforming moments. There was a time when I would be embarrassed to even SING in my car if I was alone, for fear that others would see me and think I was crazy. Oh, I've come a long way baby!
What makes us so different from those who we label as 'crazy' anyways? We see people talking to themselves on the street as they walk along, and say or think, 'man, they must be crazy!'. And then we walk or drive along with thousand of thoughts of our own running through our heads, a lot of them not so sane! What if we said all of them out loud? Would we not then be 'crazy' as well? There's just the matter of saying them out loud, or letting them roll through your mind!
Anyhow, I was driving home from work yesterday, and began talking, out loud, to myself. I was thinking about negativity. Everyone always says, be positive, push the negative thoughts out of your mind. So as I was talking to myself, I began to channel my higher self, and began speaking, to me. :)
In that conversation, I was told that negativity is not necessarily a bad thing, at least, in those who begin to realize that they don't want to live a negative life. When one is being negative, critical, or anything which is not in alignment with the essence of love, the essence of joy, one can know that their energy is not flowing in the way in which it should. One can know that something is stuck. Just by identifying that you are being in a false state of mind, you then begin to open yourself up, you begin to clear away that stuck energy. If one can identify and then choose to clear themselves, the liquid flow of light begins to stream through your body once again.
In the Light,
Leslie
