Voices From the Light #2 - Channeled by Leslie Smith

Posted on Jul 1st, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

Channeled on 25-June-2008

Blessed are you who are fearful. Blessed are you who hold fear in the palm of your hand. What shall you do with this fear? You may either take it into your being, or you may transmute this fear into love. For fear is a necessary component in the life of duality. It is what it is. We observe, and we walk with you, in your daily lives, and we see this fear. Observe it. Look at it from the real you. The real you is not your skin. The real you is not your eyes. The real you is not your fingers, your arms, or your breath. The real you is not your brain. Look at it with the eyes of wisdom, which is the essence of who you are. When you can sense, when you can feel this fear from the observing view point, you are able to transmute this fear, love it, and let it go. Fear is an all powerful, draining type of energy that is able to paralyze you into a state of submission. Allow the fear to come, observe, hold it, surrender it.

Blessed equally are those who are unable to transmute this fear. We take you into our hands, metaphorically, and blow the sweet winds of love into your lives.

Where I'll Stand - by Markus Dingcong

Posted on Jul 2nd, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
You know we're everywhere. And this isn't just about them, or this group of people, this is about me too.

Its about discrimination and about respect.

Its about a right to live and a right to live freely. I will not be afraid to stand here, in these clothes, in this skin, with this hair, hearing this music.

You will not scare me into hiding, out of the sun, into my home, out of my money or out of my job. You will not scare me!

Because I have a right to live, I have a right to be here! Just like you do, but do you see me provoking you to fight because of your dressings, your language, your choice of mind or even something you can't help but be?!

So I will stand here and hear your propaganda and your slander but I will know that no matter what I hear no matter what I feel I will not strike you; I will stand here and hear your opinions as an open-minded individual. I will stand here and take your fear, and your hate, and your anger. But no matter what; here is where I'll stand!

I believe in myself and my ideas, I believe what I believe and I live what I stand for. I am who I am and I proud of who I am. You can blow like wind and you can burrow beneath me like water. But I will stand like a building and float above your animosity like a boat. Until you prove to me that I am not happy with who I am, here is where I'll stand!

Addicted to Drama? - by Leslie Smith

Posted on Jul 3rd, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

Do you think that you are addicted to drama?

Sometimes we are attracted to pain and suffering, the drama in our lives. This is something that we learn from an early age. And while, when we were young, the first time we suffered it was probably shocking, and very hurtful, we then became used to this feeling of pain. We can become attracted to the drama in life because it is comforting. We can become addicted to pain, believe it or not. I know it sounds crazy, suffering as comfort, but the truth of the matter is that when we become comfortable with something, we strive to continue in this comfort, painful as it can be, subconsciously. If there is not drama in our lives, we look for it, we wonder why the drama is gone, and then cannot continue on until we find it. We can become depressed and anxious if there is no drama. Drama is a drug.

When we are content, we begin to stir things up. Something must be wrong if things feel content. Right?

To become free from the drama, we must become observant in all things that we do. We must become observant on the things which we think, the things that we feel, the things that we say, the things which we respond to. BE-come the observer, the witness, instead of the participant.

Strive to let go of the drama, the addiction to pain and suffering. You are not meant to live in a state of pain and suffering. Such trickery you have been led into, but you can lead yourself out of it.

Begin today.

In the Light,

Leslie

You Are Worthy - by Leslie Smith

Posted on Jul 4th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
Have you ever been asked this question in an interview, or while answering questions on some different test?

1. How do you see yourself?
2. How do others see you?

In a way, both of those questions are important. On the other hand, the second question is irrelevant, because every individual will see what they want to see in a person, they will have their own perception, and from different angles. However, that second question is the one most people ask themselves on a daily basis, and this question alone can cause someone to become embarrassed easily, can cause them to hide themselves behind others for fear of how others see them, and can even cause an irrational sense of low self esteem.

Most importantly, how do you see yourself? Make a list. Be honest. If you find that you see something in yourself that you do not particularly care for, set about to make a change, now.

I'm here to tell you that what you think of yourself is the most important. You ARE the most important person in your life. Spending time with yourself, and spending time being positive about yourself, and doing things for yourself, is above all else, the most important thing in your life. I know to some that it may seem like a selfish thing to say, but if you let yourself go, and you let yourself feel not worthy, then nothing else in your life is going to feel good to you. You must make the time to spend on you.

I myself fell into the trap of always doing things for other people. I felt like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders, that I had to be the one that took care of everything, because people expected me to. It was my job as a mother, as a wife, as a friend. But I could see that it was taking its toll on me. It was only when I surrendered this part of myself, that the weight was lifted, that I felt freedom for the first time. Guess what? My kids, my husband, and my friends were all fine. I don't stop caring for my family and friends, and I don't stop doing the things that I want to do, but I did stop doing the things that I did not want to do. I did stop taking their feelings as my own, and worrying so much about everything.

Many of you are ‘yes' people. You just can't say no to anyone, and there are different reasons for this. One being that you want to please other people, and you want them to be happy, you don't want to let them down. Another being that you don't want other people to see you as someone who won't lend a hand. You are worried about what they will think of you if you say no. Some people say ‘yes' from a genuine standpoint, but there is a fine line between doing something because you want to, and because other people want you to. Only say yes if it makes you feel good. Only say yes because you want to say yes.

If you are a ‘yes' person, and you are feeling the stress from this, please begin to take the time to look at yourself, and spend time on yourself. Do NOT feel guilty for making yourself happy. You are worthy of happiness, you are worthy of feeling good, you are worthy, period!

God, Source, Spirit, whatever you wish to call this force that is you, does not wish for you to be in a state of anything but love. When you feel down, you can know that there is something that needs to be changed. The only one that can change this is you. You are a very powerful person. You can do things that you probably don't even know you can do, because you haven't tried. You've put yourself on the back burner. It is time to put yourself at the head of the line. Take care of yourself first, and then others. It is not selfish. It is how you were meant to be.

In the Light,
Leslie

Your Passion Creates Joyfulness - by Leslie Smith

Posted on Jul 5th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
Where do you find your passion? What do you do that makes you feel joyful?

If you find that you are working most of the day at an outside job and feel no sense of joy there, if you find that your time has been lost in working to survive, you are not alone. But, you do not have to get stuck in a rut or in a routine with no sense of happiness. Life is not about being joy-less. Life is about living. If you are not living life, it's time to begin. If you are not happy, take the steps to make yourself happy.

Maybe you have forgotten what your passion is. Maybe you left it behind long ago so that you could make ends meet. Maybe it is piled with dust, with cobwebs. This is when you reach into who you really are, and pull out the gem of YOU-ness. This is when you sweep out the cobwebs, and wipe away the dust. This is when you pull your passion off the shelf and make the time for it. Yes, MAKE time for it. Once you MAKE time for it, even if it's only for a moment, you will find that you have joy back in your life, because you are acting on a part of you that is meant to be alive.

Whatever that passion is, know that it comes from within the depths of your Spirit. You will find that as you fulfill your passion, your life becomes full of joy. This is because you are acting on the most innocent of creative levels.

If you love to write, write. If you love to create web sites, create them. If you love to do construction, construct. If you love to sing, sing. If you love to play music, play it. If you love to jump from airplanes, jump. If you love to help the homeless, help them. If you love to take care of children, take care of them. If you love to read, read. Whatever it is that you love to do, follow that love. This is your passion.

In the Light,
Leslie

Sleeping While You're Awake - by Leslie Smith

Posted on Jul 6th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

Sleeping while you're awake.

What does that mean?

There are some of you who know what I'm talking about. I've been asleep while to all outside appearances I was wide awake. For me, this means that it looks like someone is fully awake. After all, they are functioning in the world like they are supposed to. They are breathing. They do all the normal things you do in life. Yet, they are still sleeping.

There are a number of things that can happen in life that begin to awaken someone. You may have gone through a terrible relationship, you may have had an out of body experience, you may have died and come back to life, you may had a stressful illness, or it may happen not from anything out of the ordinary at all, it may just be that you read something, or that you wake up one day and things are different.

To begin to awaken from this slumber means that you are beginning to see the world a little differently, maybe a LOT differently. I'm going to make a list of ‘may happen' things. ‘May happen' things are things that ‘may happen' when you begin to awaken. Not everyone will experience the same thing. But I have found that many DO experience similar things.

You may:

Begin to see the same numbers over and over again. For example, a big one is 11:11 or 444 or 777.

Begin to hear guidance from a voice within your head that seems different, more positive, something you've never heard before.

Begin to feel tingling sensations through your body that you've never noticed in the past.

Begin to pick up creative abilities that you've never used before.

Begin to start reading everything you can on Spiritual subjects.

Begin to question the religion you have been a part of.

Begin to lose interest in things that used to interest you.

Begin to feel that the things that you own are just things, they don't really matter any longer.

Begin to question why everyone seems so materialistic.

Begin to pick up abilities such as energy healing, seeing/feelings spirits, a knowing of things.

Begin to feel more compassionate towards others.

Begin to lose the judgment of others that you once found yourself engaged in.

Begin to feel like all things are connected in some way.

Begin to lose interest in the life you had before you began to awaken.

Begin to feel as if you are supposed to be doing something meaningful, but you don't know what it is.

Begin to open up emotionally, crying sometimes for no reason.

Begin to feel alone.

And the list goes on....

All of these things that you ‘may' experience are very normal once the alarm clock sounds. You will be awakening for a long time. You will not be fully awake until you make the transition from this physical body into the world of Spirit. You are a spirit with a physical body, not a physical body with a spirit.
The best advice is for you to find a group of people that you can share these things with, and there are a lot of groups like this popping up all over the world. Many people are beginning to awaken. Some have been awakening for decades. You are not alone in this. You are never alone.

It is not recommended while you are awakening for you get in other people's faces and try to wake them up as well. This won't work, and is not suggested. Not all people who are on the earth at this time are going to hear the alarm clock ringing. Some may hear it and press the snooze button, and will drift back into their slumber. Some will wake right up! Whether they awaken or not, it's ok. You placed this alarm onto your path. Perhaps you placed alarms all along your path. Sometimes, you have passed right by the alarm. This time, you chose to listen to it. You chose to stand up from the slumber, to see what was going on.

In the Light,
Leslie

The Mask - by Leslie Smith

Posted on Jul 7th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
Do not hide behind a mask. You created this mask as you grew older, and the mask changes depending on where you are at the moment. The mask brings comfort to hide the pain inside. The mask hides who you really are! You do not need the mask, you only think you do. What would happen if you took it off for a moment? Do you think you could do it?

Let me tell you something, you were not given this life to hide. You did not choose this life so that you could be someone or something that you are not.

You did not come here to be small.

You chose to come here to experience. You chose to come here to live.

You, in all of your wondrous being, are brighter than the Sun. But you have forgotten that!

Start remembering.

Take the mask off. Try it. The real you deserves to be shown to the world!

In the Light,
Leslie

Cosmic Puberty, or Living Radical Evolution -by Mark David Gerson

Posted on Jul 8th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
You're not going crazy.

I know it feels that way sometimes. It certainly does to me.

One moment you feel fine, on top of the world. The next, something pushes you into a depression or despair it's difficult to pull out of. Or you feel yourself sinking into a morass of apparent meaninglessness and purposelessness.

Old patterns -- addictions, even -- poke and prod at you, demanding to be satisfied.

Intense fatigue or other strange physical symptoms kick in, for no conventionally explainable reason.

You feel as though you're going crazy.

You're not.

Then what the @#$&%!?# is going on?

It's what I call R-evolution, short for Radical Evolution.

Our humanoid ancestors had the luxury of millennia to evolve from cave to condo, from simplicity to sophistication. Even for our grandparents, evolution was a subtle process, barely discernible within a generation, let alone a lifetime.

All that has changed.

We are experiencing, in this lifetime, a revolutionary overhaul that is unprecedented in human history.

We are morphing into a new species.

You could call it the New Human, although that's not truly accurate, because where we're going transcends much of we have come to know as human.

In effect, we are stepping into our Divine Selves, into the Gods we have always been, but only as a potential.

That potential is now being realized. Not for everyone, perhaps. But for those who have made that choice, however unconsciously, that's what's going on.

Exciting? Yes.

Miraculous? Absolutely.

Fear-provokingly uncomfortable? Without a doubt.

We stand in a place of transition.

Increasingly, our old ways of living, coping and feeling secure are not working. Even many of the New Age paradigms we have grown into in recent years seem out of place, dysfunctional, wrong-minded.

We are, as Gregg Braden put it a decade ago, walking between the worlds.

Who we were is outmoded. Yet who we are becoming is not yet ready.

Remember that awkward period in early adolescence? You were no longer a child, yet seemingly far from adulthood. On top of that, your physical and emotional bodies were doing all kinds of weird and wacky things.

Welcome back to puberty. Cosmic puberty.

You're experiencing peculiar symptoms and your emotions are volatile. You're beginning to think and act in ways that are foreign to you and others. Your likes and dislikes are shifting, as are your passions and priorities.

Even the face staring back at you from the mirror seems disconcertingly unfamiliar.

In this twilight zone we now occupy between our human and divine selves, cognitive disconnect is the norm.

Our human minds struggle to control our lives in ways that our divine intelligence considers unnecessary.

Our human mind has expectations. Our divine intelligence has none.

Our human mind tries to figure out and understand, functions our divine intelligence regards as irrelevant.

Radical Evolution, or "ascension" as some would term it, is not about moving into deeper understanding. It's about moving away from understanding. It's about abandoning any need to understand and moving into a place of permanent mystery...divine mystery.

Yet we're still wired to function in human ways. Or, rather, our divine electrician has begun the rewiring, but it's a massive job. And the transition is as weird and wacky as was puberty.

That's not reassuring to the human self, which feels as though everything familiar is breaking apart.

It is. One glance at the headlines is all it take to see that. Plummeting real estate prices. Soaring gas prices. Crises in the credit world. Floods, fires and financial failure.

Our minds and bodies are doing their own version of that same dance. Sometimes, the dance isn't graceful or pretty. Sometimes, it looks more like struggle.

Think of the biblical Jacob wrestling with the angel.

That's the essence of what's going on for us: our human wrestling with our divine. The human seeks to hold onto the perceived control of knowingness. The angel, on the other hand, represents all that is free, and therefore free of control.

All that is free is the mystery. For, along with its other implications, freedom frees us from having to know, to understand, to place in context.

As we move to this next level -- a step that is gargantuan in its steepness and implications -- we are leaving behind more than we can begin to imagine. Not in the physical sense. Not even in the emotional sense. In the human sense.

Much that has defined you as human is being squeezed out of you -- in that spin cycle I wrote about some time back or, perhaps better put, in an old-fashioned wringer-washer. And as each new space is freed up, more of the divine that you already are is entering in to fill that newly created emptiness.

Put another way, it's like the child (Peter Pan) who resists growing up, leaving childish (but not childlike) things behind to make way for the adult. In this case, it's not the human adult but the divine adult that is coming through...sometimes, or so it feels, like a steamroller.

No wonder you're in emotional crisis at times. No wonder you feel as though you are dying. No wonder signs and apparent synchronicities refuse to be interpreted.

Nothing is the way it was or ever will be again. Nothing can be understood in the old ways. Nothing can be fixed in the old ways. Nothing can be controlled. Period.

There is only one magic pill, and it can be a tough one to swallow.

It's called surrender.

Yet it's the only way.

All we can do is move through our cosmic puberty with as much grace as we can muster.

All we can do is surrender...to the mystery, to the freedom, to the divine that is taking over our lives, our will and our beingness and launching us into an era we cannot predict, anticipate or understand.

See yourself as a baby bird pushing through its shell. The shell is your human construct. You are breaking through that now. It is breaking down now. The bird is emerging, regardless. And it will fly. You will fly. And life on the other side of that shell is nothing you have ever known before.

You are stressed by all this. This is natural. Your human self is in panic. This is natural.

Know that you are neither dying nor going crazy, though that is what it feels like. Rather, you are experiencing radical evolution. You are becoming the divine.

Stop wrestling the angel and, instead, step into the angel. Become the angel. Become the god, your god, the god that you are.

The Call - by Leslie Smith

Posted on Jul 9th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
When that phone rings, are you going to pick it up, or let it go to voice mail, perhaps getting lost in the shuffle?

We are being called ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. We are being called by Truth.

You can feel it within the depths of your inner being. You can feel it in your bones. You can feel it pulsing through you. You can see it in the outer world, and you can see it in the inner world.

There is a great sense that you must find your place in this world. There is a great sense that there is something more out there. The riddle in there is that there is no place in this physical world, and there is nothing out there that is going to quench your thirst. There is no book and there is no teacher that can give you the answers to the questions you have. These things can surely guide you, but you will find that still, you have unanswered questions.

You see, you must live in this world and at the same time, not be a part of it. If you become a part of this world, you lose the sense of who you really are. If you mold yourself into the puzzle of the outer world, you have lost your way. You must live here in this physical place, and it can be a struggle. No one said it would be easy, did they? When you answer the call from Truth, and surrender everything you thought you knew, Truth will be your guiding path. There is not one way to the Truth, there are many paths. However, there is only ONE Truth.

When you answer the call of Truth, you will begin to hear Truth telling you that you have already found your place, that it never went anywhere. Truth will tell you that there is nothing out there that will satisfy you. Truth will tell you that the greatest teacher is your Divine Self. You are the Divine Self, in every way.

Make no mistake, Truth is not ‘out there' somewhere. Truth is not wrapped up in a guru. Truth is not waiting at the end of the road for you to come and find it.
You are Truth. Everything you have ever searched for is right before you. When you answer the call from Truth, you will be speaking to your Self.

In the Light,
Leslie

The Right Kind of Prayer - by Todd Schaefer

Posted on Jul 11th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

I had a revelation yesterday when I was mowing the lawn in the fun summer sun. I observed how some things which I've prayed for in the past have quickly manifested, while others, not so quickly. I noticed how when I began praying for the right things, I was given them. So what is praying for the right things?

Would it be practical to pray for a new car to manifest out of thin air when our desire is transportation to the next block? Would it make more sense to simply pray for transportation? Or walk?

Here's another example. Let's say we believe we need a new job because things aren't going well at our current job. So we pray and pray for a new job, yet a new job doesn't show up when we prayed for it to show up. Instead of praying for a new job when we feel insecure, why don't we pray for faith instead? Praying for the types of things that God can give us now - like virtues - is always easier for us to receive than praying for some future thing which we have little control over right now.

Praying for the future

Although it's great to focus on the end result when we pray, we must be careful not to project our receiving the end result at a future time.

Why does that matter?

It matters because the creative power that we have as humans lies in the present. Since our creative power is the power that we have now, our constant projection of ourselves into the future will not only make us feel less vibrant and present, it will also perfectly manifest that way. In other words, we will perfectly create ourselves as having something we've prayed for in a future point in time in each present moment we experience.

This means that every moment we expend trying to control some future moment will create the reality in the present moment of us repetitively experiencing "wanting to receive such and such in a future moment." For example, "I know I'll get married in the future," might become an unfortunate mantra that exists well into our 80's if we don't practice praying for it in the present.

Receive it Now

If we want to receive it now, then we must receive it now. Pray to receive healing now. Pray to receive abundance now. As we ask for it, we must allow the feeling of it to arrive in our bodies. Don't effort it - just feel. The goal is feeling it, and enjoying it. This is not a mental exercise that you can succeed or fail at. Setting intentions over an over is not an effective course of action to receive because it's based on mistrust and lack. That would be like starting to build a sandcastle but destroying it and starting over before making any progress because we're afraid it might rain. Instead, let's make one intention. Then, let's spend all of the rest of our time and energy feeling the reality of ourselves having what we asked for and receiving it.

The same goes for prayer. Let's not pray for something that God cannot easily provide us with now. We can pray for anything, but what will be granted to us quickly and efficiently by God, our Angels, and our Higher Selves will usually be what serves our highest good, that which is in most alignment with us, and what we are allowing ourselves to receive.

Universally Supported

I sometimes get this vision of some of my angels sitting together playing poker. Some are smoking cigars with visors on, raising antes, sitting in wooden chairs with their wings draped over the backs of them, and of course - always listening. They always wait vigilantly with full attention, tuned into our requests; waiting to support us; waiting for us to pray with the right requests. Often, they can sit and relax because many of our requests are based in lack and victimhood, which they can't do much to support us except to nudge us into asking the right questions and moving into the right directions.

When we do ask the right questions, when we are in alignment with our inner truth and Universal Law, those angels jump out of their chairs. Poker chips fly everywhere onto tables and floors, chairs are knocked over in haste, the cigar smokers choke and cough unexpectedly, and all of the aces of spades up their sleeves are left behind as the angels' priorities suddenly change. The poker room is empty. Instantly, they've rushed down to support our choices, prayers and requests in all ways possible.

Effective Prayer

As our consciousness growth continues, our prayers naturally become more effective. Some of the best prayers request that our blessings go towards the focal point for the highest good possible. This is a very spiritual prayer because it supports the best good, instead of what ‘we think' is best. These additional blessings could help to make something good happen, prevent something unnecessary from happening, add a little bit more of what is needed somewhere, and so forth. A prayer asking 'to be guided in prayer,' for example, or 'to be of service to God and others' is a prayer that will always be supported. A masterful prayer requires incredible trust, acceptance of ‘What Is,' and belief that what is happening is divine, and set up for our growth.

Whenever we are in alignment with Universal Law, in alignment with ourselves, asking out of compassion and trust instead of ego or lack, we will generally feel (or even see) immediate results. For example, instead of praying for a new job, let's pray for faith in our ability to recognize that our request has been heard - and then receive it. Instead of praying that our obnoxious neighbor moves away, let's pray for tolerance - and then receive it. Instead of praying that we don't have to get up on stage and speak in front of others, let's pray for courage that we get through it okay - and then receive it.

The spiritual confidence that arrives with utilizing our courage is the kind of self-actualization which can't be unlearned. It's a testimony of Self-Recognition. This is not recognition of our mind's view of our human self, but recognition of our Spiritual Essence. Such faithful living is naturally rewarded with fewer fears, more joyous presence, confidence, compassion, generosity and time to spare for others. Through our prayer, what once was a frantic mental effort to keep track of all aspects of our lives becomes the simple focus of one aspect in our lives - Spiritual Surrender.

Life happens with perfection. We practice mastership when we allow life to serve us. Sometimes, we believe life to be a burden or a complaint. When we're not in victim mode, however, we tend to flow with life more gracefully and even positively. When we have total trust and spiritual surrender, we eagerly anticipate each moment as an opportunity to recognize God in any situation. And unto each person's belief, it shall be done.

Reclaiming Consciousness from the Mind - by Todd Schaefer

Posted on Jul 21st, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

I'm sure you've heard of the saying, "We are spiritual beings having a physical experience," right? I'm sure when you have needed answers you have often heard the response, "Go within," not having a clue as to where you were supposed to go. An appropriate answer to the question might be, "What part of you is going within?"

Your Consciousness

Consciousness is awareness. It's not an energy, but a Presence. Its nature changes as we change. We grow and our awareness grows. In fact, everything we've ever known has been filtered through our conscious awareness.

We have the ability to direct consciousness also. We can direct it into our minds. We can direct it outside of ourselves. We can direct it into our bodies.

As we direct our consciousness into our minds, we often end up with mental stuff. This is usually done unconsciously by default. As we direct our consciousness outside of our minds, we end up with an ‘out of body' experience, or a focus on past or future. If we direct our consciousness inward, we have the ability to most easily connect with Source. But how?

A Portal to Source

The human body is a portal to Source and the Unmanifested because within it lays the Inner Body. The Inner Body is indestructible and inseparable from Source. At an infinite, quantum level, our Inner Bodies are a part of the Source, or God. Science is beginning to discover this quantum connection in metaphysical studies in recent years.

When we recognize that the Inner Body is a portal to Source, the infinite potential of all things, we can choose to direct our consciousness inward, or "go within" for spiritual nourishment.

Going Within

Let's sit with our eyes open and simply direct our attention (our consciousness) into our body. We can see the body sitting with us as we read. Without thinking, just notice the body's presence. Now feel the body's presence. Pay attention to certain parts of the body, then the whole body. How does each part feel?

You will eventually begin to feel the energy of your body, perhaps as a slight tingling here and there, or perhaps a ‘good fuzzy feeling' all over. This is an example of directing consciousness into the Inner Body.

More practice of directing consciousness inward will reveal deeper feelings; perhaps visions or some physical discomfort that you could not feel while in your mind. Eventually, the feelings will become more positive, as if you are tapping into a spring well or a river. You can always draw energy and strength from this inner river because it always flows.

This is an example of withdrawing consciousness from the mind and directing it into the Inner Body. Getting out of the mind like this is often the biggest hurdle for any spiritual grower. But it can be done.

Being

The feeling that we experience by connecting with the Inner Body is called Being. Being can only be felt. It feels like being centered in self because that is what you are doing. You are placing your consciousness in the most real and central part of yourself. Your breathing slows and deepens and your mind slows down. You feel more peaceful. This form of surrender is the cornerstone to cultivating a Spiritual Relationship with yourself. No doctrines, no beliefs - just you feeling You.

One of the most practical definitions of a Human Being is one where the human is focused on Being with anything he/she does. When consciousness is focused on the Inner Body, there is more Presence, more of our real nature, in anything that we do. Our efforts are more ‘full' somehow. This is why meditation, yoga, walking in nature and exercise are such healthy practices. They connect us with Being.

When we are in touch with our passion, which is an example of Being, we are feeling joy, presence, and fullness in what we are doing. The quality of our work improves dramatically with this connection to Being. We feel better, we look younger, we eat healthier, and we smile more often.

What's Spiritual?

Anything we do that connects us with feeling, or Being, is spiritual by nature. If it is a function of our feelings, we are feeling our core nature - our Inner Body, or Spirit Essence. Using the presence we feel through this conscious attention connection within evolves any of our actions into a higher level of energy, love and compassion. An emotion (or disturbance), on the other hand, will always be a product of the mind.

Beyond Mind Consciousness

Essentially, growing consciously is the recognition of truth within and the returning to Source. Returning to Source does not involve doing something with our mind, unless the mind is influenced by our Inner Body connection, otherwise known as Presence.

We are not our minds, but when we believe that we are our minds, we direct our consciousness into the mind more often. Sometimes we operate from mind and only pay brief visits to our feelings when they can sneak by our mental filters. However, with more attention directed inward, more focus given to the body and inner body, our feelings, our presence, increases. These enhanced Inner Body consciousness connections are often given names like intuition, psychic, or ‘tuned in.' Nevertheless, these developments are natural for us but uncommon in the world because of its mind dominated consciousness.

Spiritual Awakening - Consciousness of Being

Spiritual awakening occurs when one realizes the option to feel instead of think; to become aware that there is a connection to self (Source) beyond the thinking of the mind; that the mind is not the sole identity of the individual, and that we do exist beyond it. Awakening exists where the mind cannot go. The truth is, beyond the thinking mind IS a larger identity called Source, and it can only be known through Being.

True Spiritualism isn't a function of the mind - it is more accurately a state of Being; the practice of "going inward" to feel connection with Source. There's no wrong way to do it, and we can derive this feeling of connection from virtually any activity.

Free Will - by Ronnie Carroll

Posted on Jul 22nd, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
If God is all-powerful and loves mankind and wants us to live lovingly, purely, and divinely, why doesn't God simply "fix" everything and make us live the way He wants us to? The obvious answer is: Free Will. God gave us Free Will to choose our actions and follow our choices. So, if God gave mankind Free Will, why can't we give it to each other? And, if God gave us Free Will to choose our actions and our paths, isn't that precisely what we're doing? When people seek to control one another, who's "will" is being served - theirs or God's? What God do we serve when we seek to serve ourselves? Who's God is right?

Why do so many people insist on trying to control others? The answers are many but can be reduced to a single cause -- ego. It is ego that seeks to control because it is ego's perception that the ability to control is a reflection of one's own power. This belief is so deeply planted within us that the majority of us spend our lives trying to figure out how to control others or how to avoid being controlled. Ego seeks comfort through control. As long as an individual feels fully empowered, he has neither need nor desire to control others or situations and circumstances. But, in any situation where the boundaries of one's comfort zone are compromised, one's first reaction is to try to control whatever it is that feels out of control; whatever the apparent cause of discomfort is. As one's perceived ability to control is diminished, he exerts greater effort until it becomes force. Those people who feel most powerless resort to force, often fueled by the energies of anger.

So, how does this define an image of God? Is a vengeful, wrathful, controlling God powerful or powerless? There are many who insist that the image of an angry God is a powerful one indeed. It is this image alone which has kept them bound to a moral path. True. But, is this morality born of love or born of fear? It is human nature to hate what we fear. It is survival instinct to avoid it. How does fearing God serve us? If someone spends his life fearing God yet praying that they'll go to heaven when they die so they can rest eternally in the presence of God - in the presence of what he has always feared, what kind of living hell must heaven be?

All the logical persuasion in the world will not cause a person to abandon an illogical view of God. Entire wars and crusades have been waged over who's God was "right" and who believed in the "true" God. All mainstream religions espouse that there is only one God. Again, true. But an all-present omnipotence wears countless faces, can be seen differently from infinite angles, and can be colored and molded differently by ever-changing perceptions. For many people, their God is a God of absolute control; dictating and demanding the "rightness" and "wrongness" of their every action, feeling, and thought. To commit a sin results in banishment to hell. To feel sinful emotions such as lust or vengeance results in banishment to hell. To think an impure thought results in banishment to hell. For these people, is the "choice" of a moral path a true choice or merely a means to avoid an undesirable end?

Why is it so difficult to abandon one image of God in favor for another? Why does it take so much courage to do so? Long before we came to understand a concept of God, we came to know the reality of our parents. They were our first Gods; they provided for our every need, they nurtured our every facet of growth, they rewarded us for our achievements and punished us for our "failures." But, our "failures" weren't our failures. They were failures in the eyes of our parents, from their perspectives, based on what they valued or wanted for us. We learned then, from the time we could crawl, that the desires, hopes, and expectations of someone external to us were more important than our own. From that unspoken law, we learned to believe that serving God's will was somehow holier than serving our own. We learned that even if we didn't understand the reasoning behind a commandment, we shouldn't question it; we should only obey it.

The controls and punishments of God correlate directly with the controls and punishments of our parents. Banishment to our rooms for misbehavior is the same as banishment to hell for sinful acts. "Just wait until your father gets home" is tantamount to "Just wait until you die and come face to face with God." As children, we're taught that we're selfish if we don't share our toys. As adults, we feel selfish if we don't donate to charities or help the needy. A requirement for Holy Men throughout the world and the world's religions is that he relinquish all his worldly goods. As children, we learn that we can raise the wrath of our parents if we defy their rules. As adults, we believe we can raise the wrath of God if we don't obey His commandments. If our parents use shame to manipulate our behavior, we grow up feeling ashamed of ourselves. How do children feel whenever they're punished by their parents? They often feel wronged, victimized, and that life isn't fair. But far more devastating than that is the perception of the withdrawal of love. And when we have sinned in God's eyes, we're not worthy of love. As "imperfect" human beings, how can we ever love ourselves? If, by "the grace of God" some of us do learn to love ourselves, we fight a deeper internal battle of guilt or shame for doing so. Changing our view of God requires far more than changing our opinions. It requires changing our entire belief system and re-programming our learned behavior. Many people are so deeply entrenched in their learned behavior patterns that even if they knew that another way of behaving existed, they wouldn't know how to change it.

One of the simplest ways to start is by recognizing that all behavior is learned and that by the time we're eight years old, our programming is complete; but if something can be learned, it can be un-learned. Our brains, like computers can be programmed and re-programmed. But, this takes courage, persistence, and dedication. It requires that we question all things -- including God. When we're taught to not question authority, especially the highest authority and that any attempt to do so will result in punishment, questioning God -- the most fearful and powerful tyrant in existence, is daunting to say the least.

Therefore, many of us give lip service to our belief system, saying that we believe in a God of Free Will yet trying to control or manipulate others into behaving according to our understanding of righteous behavior. But, Free Will is simply that -- free will. There are no strings attached or carrots dangled to get us to change our behavior to something other than what we have chosen. A God of Free Will is a loving God. To love all humanity regardless of humanity's behavior means that God is accepting of all behavior. God -- the Omnipotent Being, is in all things. God is in you too. Love yourself. Love the God within you. But, more than coming to love yourself, love loving yourself. Give the God within you the will to be free.

Metamorphosis, or Cosmic Puberty Strikes Again - by Mark David Ge

Posted on Jul 23rd, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

Monday, July 14 ~ Albuquerque, New Mexico

5 a.m. -- I wake up from a restless night's sleep with lower-back pain that shows up in my left buttock and upper leg. I try to find a pain-free position. No luck. I get up.

9 a.m. -- "I need a chiropractor," I say to myself. "No," an inner voice insists. "But I'm in pain!" I argue. I then flash on a memory from a few years ago when a series of chiropractic adjustments did little to ease a similar problem. A week after canceling my remaining appointments, the pain was gone. "Let it be," I hear. "You'll be fine."

10 a.m. -- I'm not fine. I take two Advil, do my best to buffer my stomach and spend the day moving between bathtub and soft-seated easy chair.

Wednesday, July 16

8 a.m. -- Another Advil/easy-chair/bath day. I grumble about my inner guidance but surrender to it. No chiropractor.

Thursday, July 17

9 a.m. -- With even the toilet seat barely manageable, I abandon inner guidance and scan the phone book for a holistic-sounding chiropractor. The first one can't see me until Monday. The second greets me with voice mail. I know I shouldn't make a third call, but I do. I get an 11:30 appointment.

11:30 a.m. -- The chiropractor's office is empty and dark. I wait a bit, then leave. "Hang in there," my inner voice says.

11:45 a.m. -- On the drive home, my July 7 blog post echoes in my head: "We are morphing into a new species," I wrote. "We are stepping into our Divine Selves, into the Gods we have always been." I also wrote about "strange physical symptoms" that "kick in for no conventionally explainable reason."

Noon -- Suddenly, this thought: What if my body is trying to adjust to that very morphing I wrote about? What if I don't need a chiropractor to adjust my spine back to its old alignment but need to give my body the time and space to adjust itself to a new alignment? This explanation feels right -- to part of me. To another part, it sounds crazy. I resolve the dilemma by taking a nap.

Friday, July 18

6 a.m. -- I'm still in pain. "Damn!" I mutter. I can't get back to sleep, so I give myself a mini sound-healing session. This is my second early morning self-treatment this week and the second time a spine-shaped DNA strand appears in my mind's eye. I fall asleep.

8 a.m. -- I wake up. The pain is nearly gone.

Tuesday, July 22

The pain didn't stay gone. Instead, it ebbed and returned over the next days, each return less intense than the last. Today, I feel pretty good, if still just a little bit achey.

Why am I sharing this story? Not to prove what a wonderful self-healer I am, nor to show off my fearless, resistance-free existence. We all have the former capacity but, like most people, I don't always trust mine. As for the latter, it's not as constant as I would like it to be.

Rather, I share my story to remind you -- and me -- to listen to the voice of your deepest heart, to discern what is truth and trust it, to honor not only the demands of your body but also the call of your highest self. I share it, not for you to avoid necessary treatment, but to be open to the wisdom and healing power that is your birthright.

I share it, too, as a personal example of that Cosmic Puberty experience many of us are living. I share it because I know that many of you are experiencing your own strange symptoms -- either new ones or a recurrence of old ones.

For me, the past week involved more than back pain. I was lethargic, slept poorly and had little appetite. I also experienced a catalog of other physical and emotional oddities. Even my computer was affected: On Tuesday, my laptop's trackpad died. On Wednesday, its battery followed suit.

Today, after eight days of listless emptiness, I feel energized and transformed. It's as though I went through a physical and emotional retooling and now stand at the threshold of something new. Even my computing life has had an overhaul -- new keyboard, trackpad, battery and printer.

Perhaps I should have seen this metamorphosis coming. At the end of my talk at a local library a few weeks ago, the librarian gave me a gift: a thermal mug emblazoned with the theme of the summer's teen reading program -- Metamorphosis.

That mug has been sitting on my kitchen counter ever since, refusing to be hidden in a cupboard, its transformative message staring me down multiple times a day.

I can't tell you where this metamorphosis is taking me or what its next stage will look like. Nor can I tell you how it will manifest in my life.

The only certainty for me is that metamorphosis is an ongoing journey, one that continues to call on me to surrender to it. Unconditionally.

The only certainty for us all is that we are all evolving, that we're all engaged in the kind of r-evolution (radical evolution) I often write about. At least, we're engaged to the extent that we allow it to be so.

How engaged are you? Are you allowing metamorphosis or resisting it? How is it playing out in your life? Where is it uncomfortable? Painful? Where is it joyful? Transcendent? How can you surrender more fully to it and flow more easily along your journey to the Divine? How can you move through the human stress and confusion of these times while acknowledging the God you already are? How can you help others on that same journey?

I know you can do it. I know you can, because I believe in you.

Voices From The Light #3

Channeled by Leslie Smith on 22-July-2008

You never needed to be here! You've already ascended! You are a master! Each and every one of you! You CHOSE to come here, many have chosen to come here time after time, some have chosen to go to other dimensions. YET, this has been a choice of yours, a choice that you have made. While here you have forgotten the ways of peace. But you are remembering. It has always been this way. You come here, you forget, you remember, you leave, you come back. You do this for the experience. You do this to learn. You do this for the joy of it. How can you do something like this, you ask of yourself. Why would I ever choose to come here and experience this pain over and over again? Because your soul knows that it is not painful. Your soul knows that it's an illusion, one that you could instantly leave if you wished to do so. It's not a bad thing to be inside of the illusion. For you are also outside of the illusion. You are in all places at once. Your Higher Self, which is not in the human way ‘higher' but has all remembrance..is always watching, always observing, always directing you. You are in the hands of safety at all times. Do not judge your time here as bad or as good. It is only different. In an instant, you could gather yourself up and take your place outside of the illusion. You choose not to at this time. You have things that you wish to experience, things that can only be experienced while in form. But be not fooled into thinking that you are form itself. This is one of those things that happens quite often. You can be tricked, you can be fooled in the ways of this world. But we are here to tell you to be not fooled into thinking you are form itself. You are not to be contained only in this seemingly real physical form. You are limitless. You have to make the choice to see it though. You have the free will. You have designed yourself this way. To connect with the Self of All Remembrance, is your way of putting the pieces together. We will be speaking with you frequently. Do not fret. However, do not hold things within. To have emotion is not good or bad. Do not judge it. Just let the emotions come, let them flow. If you let them get stuck, there is nowhere for them to go. Let them move THROUGH you, be not stuck INSIDE of you. Mmm, Indeed we see your questions. Indeed we know what is happening in your mind. Ah, the mind of all minds, that processing magnet of thoughts. We see that you have been ‘stuck' on certain questions, which we know that in this transmission, we have relieved. Keep moving. Yet stay still. Be still.

Voices From The Light #4
Channeled by Leslie on 22-July-2008

Within is the stillness, the stillness that most humans do not take the time to connect with. There is a place where you can go to connect with the stillness. This is like connecting to shall we say Ameren UE or to whatever big power company you use..this is like plugging in and receiving electricity. When you go to this place of stillness, you are truly connecting with Creatorship, the Divine You. To not plug in is to deplete your soul to the point of wariness. You need not go through rituals to plug in. You need only to be still. You need only to focus on centeredness. It is ok for thoughts to run rampant at this time. You will find that as you let them run wildly, and not engage them, they will get bored with you, and you will be left in a place of quietness. While in this quietness, there will be a magnitude of love that perhaps you had not known before. You have of course, always known it, but while in form, and while driving yourself crazy in stressful situations that take over your mind in this game of life...maybe you have not allowed yourself this experience of Absolute Oneness. Perhaps you have caught glimpses of it. Perhaps you will find that you will choose to plug in more often. That is what the meaning of ‘within' is. When someone chooses to tell you to look within yourself for the answers, you now know what they are speaking of.

End of Transmission

The Deeper Meaning of Numbers - by Coralie Mitchell

Posted on Jul 25th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
In the ancient civilizations we have learnt of, numbers had a deeper meaning then they do today. People were aware of a higher consciousness and their rituals brought in divine meaning to all life's cycles. Numbers were held sacred by the Priest or Shaman. These enlightenment leaders of people were aware of the meaning behind numbers or symbols. If a certain sign appeared, the presented number would give the shaman insight into the situation. Often the Shaman played the aspect of 'observer' and the sacred meaning of numbers was kept secret from the masses.

As society now revolves around measurement and comparison, it seems that the wisdom has turned into a lower state of ego. Measurement of the physical and therefore time has debased the numbers of their sacred meaning, as they have been explored to benefit or limit the individual in a powerful way. We have forgotten the true meaning of numbers in our daily lives and within our belief systems. Their sacredness is a lost art.

In the beginning spirit manifested through numbers and that was understood by shamans. But as we have developed the ego and lost contact with enlightened states, we have taken numbers to their lowest levels. We, as a civilization, have descended the meaning of numbers and therefore ourselves over the last 1000 or more years. We have explored the negative impact, depravity and the meaningless of numbers to the full extent. For example, we hear about the millions who die and the millions of money one has and both these examples encourage a state of fear within the individual, fueling the ego. It represents the measurement of loss and separation. It also measures success/loss as a 'numerical value,' of intense physical proportions, which again implies lack, unfairness and a superior power which holds us in our cages of fear.

So what I am going to do here is take you back to the source of numerical meaning, which we have spiritually descended. Now is the time to ascend the sacred vibration of the numbers within us. Numbers can invite you to explore your divinity everyday, which allows a spiritual presence into your life in order to balance different aspects of who you are.

The number 1 means the start, beginning and the development of the self. The ego is quite important to the development of the self. Without it we would truly feel lost and unable to show others our divine spark as a separate individual. We have lately come to the point where we have tried to discard the ego and are encouraged to overcome it. We try to pretend we don't have it, pushing it away and forcing it to become our own worst enemy, as we still use it to a huge extent, but with our rose colored glasses on. The number 1 is so important because it tells us that the ego is apart of us all and it allows us to live in a healthy way, if we use it as a tool and keep it balanced. When we experience fear and pain, it is important to recognize the ego. Play with it, allow it and express it. This then enables you to observe it and see it for what it is (as expressed by Eckhart Tolle in The Power of Now). The number 1 is very important because it shows us how our ego or sense of self is developing.

The number 2 is the distance between 1 point and another focus point. It represents sensitivity to others, companionship, and mediator/peacemaker. It represents the stage of the divine 'observer' within us all. So if you have a Life Path 2 or a Destiny Number 2, this means you can become the 'observer', aware of the presence of ego and therefore you are able to mediate between the two, in order for to reach self realization. You can see things from a higher perspective. It is accessible to everybody, not just those possessing these numbers. As we often take numbers to their lowest level, the number 2 can be expressed as the negative mind, competition, oversensitivity, moodiness and unbalanced living. This negativity is also an aspect of the number 1 where the ego and sense of self gets out of control and we want to be the single person at the top of the mountain.

Number 3 represents the creative, positive mind and what we have seen over the last 20 or 30 years is people using their negative mind to create as they haven't been able to access their positive mind due to society's limited belief systems. Society and religion do not support expanding creation as it doesn't require boundaries in order to be used, though those in power would have us believe otherwise. The creative mind is the next step to wholeness after mastering the negative mind of the 2. When manifesting the number 3 energy, you are using the new energy of triality. The two states of duality (happy/sad) combined with the state of the observer to maintain an assertive outlook. Not one that is happy, but one that is positively assertive! This is also a social number and when you are living with positive creational energy you attract people into your life who are beneficial for you and will help you to maintain and continue a positive mind, which then allows you to hold more of your own power.

The number 4 is very grounding and represents the square, which symbolizes physical stability. We need this anchor within the physical in order to ascend spiritually and continue our creative abilities. Being spiritually aware in the physical body is now a form of ascension that is widely accepted. Before 2000 it was very difficult to ground the higher frequency in the physical realm. As in the Celestine Prophesy by James Redfield, one would disappear as their vibration reached very high levels. Now the 4 enables us to live a divine physical experience, where we can associate with others and expand ourselves in order to gather more awareness. As the number 3 makes us more social, the 4 allows us to bring positive creation into our daily life. This means we can receive a reflection of ourselves from other people and situations around us. These reflections can be a catalyst for further change and growth. Each one reflects a certain aspect of us. Everything and everybody is an energy catalyst and every action you take in daily life reflects who you are. The 4 means to be physically aware and enables us to feel the physical presence of the now moment in a safe space.

The number 5 represents the present - the now moment and is an opportunity to be still, accept and express our heart; what we feel in the now moment. The ego is concerned with the past and the future and when we connect with the now moment, it slips away. Your being then enjoys the connection it has to All That Is. When you have this rest or gap between the thoughts, it is very healing and the heart is the focal point. At first it may be uncomfortable, but using the tools of surrender and acceptance you can heal the heart and move closer to your divine presence. When the ego and the heart are balanced by the 5, life becomes joyous and opens you to new experiences that are waiting for you. You can connect with life in a deep and meaningful way.

The number 6 rules divine channeling and allows us to express divine thought via the heart energy and now moment of the 5. It symbolizes beauty in all forms and harmony, so relationships become quite wonderful as inner truths are communicated. When one has mastered the previous numbers, then divine communication is easily expressed through talking. For those who have not mastered the previous numbers then this form of communication is expressed safely through writing or even telepathic messages. Also the channeled energy from the mind (3) flows through the heart (5) and heads into to lower chakras, resulting in an infusion of sexual energy. As energy flows naturally many Ruling 6 people or those experiencing a 6 creative energy will feel very sexual as this energy is our own divine spirit entering the physical and searching for expression. This energy is what compels us to LOVE. When people don't feel a strong sexual energy, it means that they are looking for something else other than love, which would be signified within the previous numbers. They don't feel yet connected to their divine passion/love.

The number 7 allows you to connect with people and situations and actively absorb knowledge or energy via DNA photons. You will be aware of new energy and the DNA of this energy is transmitted through auras (DNA photons) to your receptive DNA centre within the brain. The 7 number signifies the activity of taking messages or knowledge within from an outside source. This information is then evolved via your personal experience (DNA) and transmitted to the outside world as the aspect of teacher. It depends on your individual growth, as to which aspect you are currently playing - student or teacher. Education and travelling are so important for Ruling 7's or those experiencing this vibration, as they help you to use the 7 productively. If you are not actively seeking information, then you will experience a feeling of loss or isolation. Usually this is due to letting imbalances of the 2 (fear) hold you back. Ruling 7's often take on a victim personality when this happens, as they have forgotten how to assert themselves and step out of the shadows they have created with their negative mind. So the positive mind of the 3 is very important during these situations and can end the feeling of loss that 7 can bring, when used unwisely.

The number 8 represents independence. When you have gathered knowledge and stepped out of your comfort zone, you will know that you don't 'need' anyone. You feel a level of independence growing and use the information you have gathered to choose/create your own path. You are now supported by divine intention. Anything you want is brought to you, when and if you require it. The number 8 rules empowerment and spiritual wisdom. Knowledge now can be actively used to better all concerned. It allows you access to future possibilities, where you can observe many perspectives/viewpoints of a future potential and this helps you to make a choice that furthers your growth.

The number 9 is the number of completion and symbolizes the highest ideals and values upheld by the individual. It is a catalyst for change and new beginnings to come - a completion of an old outdated cycle. The external environment is created through this energy via divine will and using the wisdom of the previous vibrations held within numbers. The number 9 encourages us not to just speak out truth but manifest it in our external environment, with passion and drive!

Number 10 contains the collective vibrations of the single digits, used for the betterment of others through active leadership. When someone experiences this vibration as a Ruling number etc, they will feel compelled to assist others in changing belief systems which are outdated. It is the number which allows the cycle to begin within others; it imbues others with the courage to face their sense of self and fuels hope in the midst of hopelessness. A Ruling 10 will assist others to feel the vibrations of all the single digits, in order for them to find out what life means to them. They can then find their hidden talents/strengths hidden within.

Voices From The Light #5-Channeled by Leslie Smith 23-July-2008

Posted on Jul 28th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

First of all, when we speak of being spiritual, you must know that it is not some higher plane of development than others. To be spiritual is to simply be living, and we are all living in an eternal infinite moment. To be spiritual, you need not do anything more than you are doing now. It's a birthright, so to speak. There is, however, a difference between being spiritually awake and being spiritually asleep. We will speak to those of you who are spiritually awake. For those who would be spiritually asleep would not have any interest in reading this. There is a place where one can go while on this path. Some humans call it ‘The Dark Night of the Soul'. Some call it the void. The void is a place where one finds themselves when walking the spiritual path. Not one of you will miss out on these voids. Oh how lucky you are. (we say this in jest of course) When you get to this place, all hell seems to break loose. Everything is chaos. What once was flowing smoothly now seems to fall apart. This is a place of no return, or so you think. You who have gone through the void know what we are speaking of. However, no void is the same. This is to keep you on your toes. (again, we say this in jest) You have come to a place where there is a new fork in the road, so to speak. This fork represents a choice, as always. What this choice is, and what this choice means to you will be different for each of you. Do not try to invest too much time into thinking about it. When you push against the void, it will come back at you even stronger. Do be still. Do let the energies that are flowing through you to flow. This can take some time. Do know that they will flow through you if you allow them to, and soon after, you will be on the other side of this void. When you thought it was a place of no return, you were correct. You will not go back to where you once were. When you get to the other side of the void, your vibration will have raised. You will have indeed grown. The meaning of this message to you is to let you know that it will pass, as all things pass. Be in the moment. Do not struggle. Our Loving energies pass through you now and always.

End of Transmission.

Woman Of Light - by Katherine B.

Posted on Jul 28th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

She dresses in yellow

Like the sun that shines

A glow of peace surrounds her all the time

Her skin is fair and milky white

And seems to give off its own light

Her eyes are huge just like the skies

They shine and dance and have never cried

Her long blonde hair frames her face so fine

She walks on earth as a beam of sunshine

Across the road he caught a glimpse

He had walked in darkness it seemed like forever since

He had memory of a light at all

Then he caught her eye and heard a call

From places forgotten deep inside

And as light makes the darkness fly

He was reborn in the radiance of her life-giving shine

They have walked together ever since

Basking in the glow of Love and radiance

When she speaks it seems like flowers fall

As she gives gifts of Love and joy to all

Her touch is like the warmth of spring

Encouraging growth and the birds to sing

Soothing his now enlightened soul

Her light and Love rescuing him from his dark hole

She is not and angel or an ancient fairy

She is a simple person like you and me

The difference is she has found her own true worth

And believing in herself she gave birth

To all the wondrous things a human soul can be

When one finally starts to know and believe

They are the creator of their own destiny

And then they share the Love and message with all humanity

I Am Ecstasy - by Katherine B.

Posted on Jul 29th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

I Am Ecstasy

I am the song the trees whisper in the wind

I am the strength of the mighty mountains

I am the song of the birds in the morn

I am always being reborn

I am a traveler in and out of space and time

I am more than this body or this mind

I am the eagle in flight

I am the light of the stars in the night

I am the water that flows

I am the sunlight that glows

I am One with it All

I am Love wrapped in ecstasy enthralled.

Life is Like…Painting a Cedar Fence - by Nathan Anderson

Posted on Jul 29th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
Life is like...painting a cedar fence.

Cedar emanates endless beauty throughout time. Painting the fence represents putting up a front. The paint, or front, may flaunt beauty for a time, but the paint eventually begins to crack and fade and lose its appeal. The fence must then be repainted to recreate the fronted beauty.

The painting and scraping and repainting is time consuming and unnecessary. Why then do we choose to paint the natural beauty of our fence, of our true selves? The reason to paint is to impress a certain audience. The audience could be a group of peers, a coworker, a parent, or one's self. You may not like the way you naturally exist because you fear the perception of others. Others' perceptions, however, are often inaccurately perceived by one's self. Be confident in yourself and who you really are and you will be beautiful.

If you paint yourself, even one time, you must undergo the necessary steps to scrape away the front and reclaim your natural beauty. The fronting process strips you from valuable opportunities to bestow your beauty to the world. You take the time to research, prep, paint, and scrape the front before returning to your natural beauty. Some people stay painted their entire lives and never have the chance to share their true beauty with the world.

Fronting is not uncommon. Most people front when searching for their true selves. They try different colors and textures to see if their fronted images match their true selves. They are unable to identify the beauty that naturally exists. They think that beauty needs to be fabricated. And, as many fronting exhibits prove, fronts can be beautiful to some eyes for certain periods of time. However, they lose their appeal with time and need to be modified or replaced.

At certain moments, people will realize that fronting requires significant work and maintenance and they choose to return to their natural beauty. The timing of this identification varies for each person. Some may realize the detriment to fronting after only a few colors, while others will paint several fronts.

Removing fronts can be challenging and may be increasingly difficult for those who have painted many coats. The more coats, the more difficult the process to recover natural beauty. The beauty of this all, however, is that your genuine beauty is not impossible to retrieve. The paint can be removed and the front can be forgotten with time.

Allow yourself to be naturally beautiful. Save your fronting energy for productive functions and you will be even more beautiful and appealing to others. Consume your energy with fronting experiments and, although your beauty may emulate for a moment, it will fade and lose appeal with time. Time has the power to enhance natural beauty and fade fronted beauty. To be truly and timelessly beautiful, maintain your natural finish.

Number Sequences and Miracles - Coralie Mitchell

Posted on Jul 30th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

After you have brought the deeper meanings of numbers into daily life, reality takes on a pastel of beauty and connection. This is a painting which you create with the support of your Higher Spirit. You may discard the painting for a new blank canvas any time you like. You may encounter new colours, different brush strokes and tools to which you had not encountered before which will bring your reality to LIFE.

When you align with your Higher Spirit, you use these tools creatively and one of these is TIME...via the digital clock. You begin to conceive time as a tool for meeting with life and artistically using your experience to paint your reality. As you use time as a tool, your higher spirit can use it also to send you Cosmic Winks, which help you focus energy and create opportunity for working MIRACLES within your life.

Many people are experiencing the phenomena of Number Sequences and there are many explanations of these available on the internet. Although today I will describe the most powerful of these number sequences, from a very personal perspective. I have been experiencing Cosmic Winks for the last 6 months. They always have deep meaning and I take them very seriously. Some can be a warning; some can be a message of significant opportunity. As a conclusion I will describe two incidences where miracles have occurred with the powerful energy which the anticipation of which a number sequence can bring. By being aware of their significance, you are able to manifest the highest possible energy that they send you...via your Higher Self.

Similar to codes held in crop circles and symbols, Cosmic Winks will program your mind to receiving a Miracle. It could be anything from a simple decision to a life changing experience, or a string of events one after the other that lead you to an overall miracle. Whatever it may be, it is essential that you surrender to life without fear and are open to all opportunities coming your way.

Here are the most influential Cosmic Winks that one will receive when on the path of ascension or healing:

111 - Something significant is about to be presented to you to spur you to the next level of personal development.

222 - Sensitivity to others is prominent. You are about to face your fears through communication with others.

333 - The mind will create what you wish to experience. This is a very creative gateway.

444 - You are creating the physical - be aware of your physical surroundings and clear your space to enable manifestation.

555 - Change is at hand. Be ready to change how you express yourself and love within relationships. It is time to take a new direction and heal the heart.

1111 - This signifies a physical experience which shows you yourself in a new light. It brings personal evolution to a higher state and increased empowerment.

2222 - A psychic experience which evolves your DNA in the physical to bring love and light into the physical. It will take place on the astral, so you may not be aware of it, but you will be aware of your highly sensitive nature.

I just received a cosmic wink...1111. So what does this mean to me? It means that after years of being a hermit and studying spiritualism, I am now coming out! A second ago was feeling happy that I have written this and that my website is going well. The wink said 'WELL DONE - you are on a path of empowerment and success'. My whole life I just wanted to be a nun! But now I want to be the Sun! And I am on my way to success.

OK now those 2 stories I was going to tell you. They are both quite amazing and life changing.

1111 + 333

For 3.5 days I received these cosmic winks...everyday. It was so amazing! It was hard to believe to coincidence of these...for every time how could the clock repeatedly show these numbers. The something amazing happened. While I was dreaming one night, I simply chose to leave the old script of my dream and just walked away. That was when I saw mother ships and met with an evolved ET. I also met a higher aspect of myself which was also a light being. They healed my throat on a ship using magnetic technology. If you would like to read about my experience you can find it here http://www.manyhandsmakelightwork.blogspot.com/ . The cosmic winks continued for 3.5 days afterwards.

111 + 555

I received these signals for over a week, everyday. It told me that my heart was about to be healed. I began to say no to people and put myself first. Through people I had met in the last month a wonderful change was about to occur. I realized that I had to step out...and tell people I am gay. As soon as I did the winks stopped, the job was done.

Do you notice the similarity between all of these events? In all of them the theme is Stepping Out. Coming out and not being held back by fear or judgments. Maybe Cosmic Winks should be called Stepping Stones instead!

Honest Heart Poetry - by Bryn Cartwright

Posted on Jul 31st, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

You are the words in between the words.

The endless rhythm of that secret silence,

You are the subtle breathing love that listens for the bat of an eyelash, as I think.

As much as you show me love, you are and more

Your existence, the emulsion for the film of my life

Showing me the beauty by giving it a different shade,

Bringing light to dark, and showing me the elegant shadows.

And now I know that the white and the black on the photograph of my heart

Are neither good nor bad.

And that - even for so long as I kept it blank, undeveloped -

Its beauty comes with darkness and light,

And I am not afraid to see the full picture.
