Compliments From God - by Nathan Anderson

Posted on Aug 1st, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

Challenges in our lives are compliments from God.

Just as a promotion at work is received as a compliment from your boss, so should a struggle in life be received as a compliment from God. Your boss offers you a promotion because he identifies that you are successful in your current position; he has confidence in your abilities to take on additional responsibilities and challenges. As such, God has confidence in you to persevere through the struggles that he injects into your life. "Only the strong survive" & "God doesn't give you mountains that you can't climb" are quoted examples that clarify the truth of this concept.

The death of a loved one, the loss of a house, addiction, divorce, unplanned pregnancy, and job loss are all examples of struggles placed in your life because God believes that you can overcome the challenges. View each and every challenge as a compliment just as you would view a promotion at work. Rather than envy, or express jealousy towards, individuals who do not face similar struggles, thank God for the opportunity to show Him that you possess the strength and faith to persevere through the challenges that He presents to you. Pride yourself on the fact that He gave you the promotion to assume added responsibility. Determination and endurance lead to success through overcoming struggles and ultimately yield enhanced strength, well being, and preparedness for future endeavors.

Dietitian Healing Work - Channeled by Todd Schaefer

Posted on Aug 12th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

The following channeling is given with permission from the client who initially received it during an in-person channeling session. She is a dietitian who was preparing to take a new job in the southwestern United States. The personal parts of the channel have been omitted. I've added titles to break it up a little bit.

Walking the Path

{Am I doing the work I should be doing...looking forward to a spa...and am I on the right path by wanting what I'm wanting?}

Yes, we see that you are on the path. It would be a difficult move to not be on the path. You are always on a path but it is more so a matter of if that path you are on is in alignment with what you feel. If you are in alignment in what you feel then it is the path you intend to be on. If it is a thought or a feeling of worry, then the worry would signify not a truth, necessarily, but more so a matter of being not on the path.

And so, the good feelings are your compass, your barometer or whatever instrument you wish to use. The feelings are the path. What it is in location, what it is in place, what it is with people is not the path. It is part - it is a characteristic, but it is not the path in and of itself. The path is the feelings and with the presence of feelings, the path shows up, the people arrive, the coincidences occur. And that is, we believe, the answer to your question. Do you understand?

{I do. Thank you.}

You're welcome.

Where the Train Leads

{Is there anything else that I should know that would be a benefit to me in this new period of change?}

Yes. The benefit would be not to worry; not to have fear, for it is only an experience and in an experience, you...discover. You learn about yourself. You learn about experiences. You learn about parts of life - energies you wish to participate in, goals you wish to achieve, and it is more important to get on the train, as our friends have said, more than it is important which way the train is going. And as you have decided to get on the train, your life will begin into motion. Where it leads is not up to you.

It is in one sense. In another, it is a larger sense of where spirit wants you to be. And as you are in alignment with the will of spirit or God, or higher self, or whatever you call it, the feelings will be present to reflect this alignment.

Discovery of Self

And so, the choice to make the move is what is most important. The choice to overcome fear is what is most important, for you are giving permission for an aspect of yourself to come forth that has not come forth in this way before. You might say that the change is indicative of an inner transformation. The outer externals aren't terribly significant, although they may seem that they are. But, what occurs inside as a result is where the true discovery is made, and it is also where the energies of self are discovered. It is where the reserves are located that you will be accessing as you do your work.

You will find that this strength takes you to one step and then more strength is revealed to you into another step. And then there are energies there, there are people there that are involved in your journey. And this is revealed to you one step at a time. You do not need to know the entire plan. You may make your choice and you may fulfill the plan with ease - joyfully and peacefully, but it most easily arrives to you when there is surrender in this moment. And then one moment leads joyously to the next. And then there are other opportunities that change that arrive into your experience with this trust you offer.

So, you might say that this is a transition...an external transition but it is also an internal one. And what occurs - what you allow to transition inside will most maximally influence how the externals change. Do you understand these words?

{Yes. Thank you.}

You're welcome.

{I don't think that there's anything else to be asked. I think that inside I just know these things.}

You do know these things. It is very obvious to us that you have arrived with the answers in your awareness. And so, "why the questions?" is the question.

{Uh...ego reassurance purposes, I think. Coming from a human.}

Letting Go of Doubt

Yes, and that is a natural part of the process as well. Remember that that is natural, and at the same time...unnatural...hmm. For these are aspects of your Being to be accepted and embraced, for they are part of the experience too. But you have the option to choose...how much you allow them to be in your experience. You have the option to let the doubt go across your screen of awareness. You have the option to let it slide by. You know that anything that is of doubt is not a real part of you. It is only a temporary part - a physical part, and that is it not real but appears real at this time.

And so, with this recognition, you learn to doubt the doubts and pay no attention to what is not real, and you will find these assurances arriving easy - more quickly. You will become quite good at it within the next three months. Do you understand these words?

{I do. Thank you.}

About Healing Work

We will speak about the work. We see that the work itself will change as you begin. The work here in this location is a bit different than the work will be in the following location. On the outside, there will be a similar attribute, similar knowledge, similar...characteristics; how you speak to others, but there will be energetic shifts in you to come that will become a part of your work also. These energies are the result of openness; allowing and also receiving on your part. These energies go outward from you into the Beings, the entities you work with, and they receive the information. They receive the energies. They receive the knowledge that you have to offer. Not only that, but their bodies also receive the knowledge that you have to offer, by your presence, by your...beingness in the moment. Your body knows these issues. Your mind understands the body. This presence in your energy - your aura - your spirit is a type of consciousness, a type of awareness that your body has. You know of this relationship and you have nurtured it and it has grown into something bigger for you.

Spiritual Understanding in the Body

And so, in your conscious presence, the body of another will also receive this consciousness from you. In it is a recognition. It is an acceptance. It is an allowance and a receiving. Do nothing to effort. It is a natural part of the process, and that will occur in any relationship when there is one offering healing and the other receiving healing. These energies will pour out from you in your...walk day by day, in love with you when you are in love, and it will be a natural process. It is already a part of your walk. It is already a part of you. It is a part of your walk - it is what you give in your love to other people. And they receive this love. They receive this nurturing. And that is a gift. That is your divinity - your truth. That is the sacredness you have come to offer - the recognition of love felt in the body. And you can only give this gift once you have experienced it for yourself. One who has not experienced it for one's self will only be able to give the gift at a certain level; perhaps only a mental level as if it were an object of knowledge. But understanding, we tell you, goes far deeper than objects of knowledge and understanding in the mind. That is only one part of you that understands. There is a much deeper part of you that understands; and that is your spirit and essence.

Many people are cut off from this essence and only stay in the mind. And you will be nurturing the relationship, helping consciousness out of the mind and back into the body through your work.

Consciousness in Your Creations

It is also in your food that you prepare. We see there is a...creation. Any time one creates energy, one creates woodwork, or food, or mechanics, these energies of self go into the creation. The creation lives on. It works most easily when you are using life energy as in plant life, as in edible energy. With this creation of food, for example, you put out this loving essence into the preparation of the food and it goes into the food. And the result, Dear One, is a higher vibrational food; a more nutritious food. Perhaps, you might say, a food that is more aware than it once was. That is a generous gift created by you, given to those who receive, and of course, it tastes good. And the body recognizes - yearns for this awareness, this connection and it knows when it is present. The body feels when energy is right. It knows when there is truth in the subject matter; when it needs a food or a drink or a vitamin or a mineral - the body knows and you can test this. The added benefit in nutrition is awareness and the consciousness that you transmit through your own essence. And this is a natural product of your contribution.

Do you understand these words?

{I do. Thank you.}

You're welcome. Are there other questions?

{No. I think you have provided me what I need. Thank you.}

It is our honor to serve, and many of us will be taking the journey with you. And you may ask for guidance, and you will receive.

And So It Is.

Desire - by Ronnie C.

Posted on Aug 2nd, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
The following is more-or-less a transcript of a conversation I had with my friend, Gabriel...

" 'Want' and 'desire' are two entirely different things," Gabriel said. "Want implies lack. Whenever you daydream about having more money, you also daydream about having things that you lack."

I nodded, secretly hoping that we wouldn't get into discussing some of those things I'd daydreamed about -- mansions, yachts, exotic pets, and all the accouterments that came with them.

"Have you ever daydreamed about the things you already have?" Gabriel asked, snapping my wandering thoughts back to the present.

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"Have you ever daydreamed about the furniture that you already own, or the pictures on your walls, or your knickknacks?"

"No. But that doesn't mean I don't want them."

"That's exactly what that means. Think about it. Before you came into possession of those things, you wanted them. When you obtained the things you wanted, you stopped wanting them. Substitute the word 'lack' for the word 'want.' You lacked something so you obtained it. Once you obtained it, you no longer lacked it."

"I still wanted it. I'm not in the habit of expending effort and money to obtain something that I want and then throwing it away just because I no longer want it."

"You're speaking of desire."

"You're using semantics," I countered.

"Think about this. Do you make an effort to own -- or do you even wish to own, everything you see that's pleasant or pleasing in some manner -- hot sports cars, elegant evening gowns, an island paradise, museum gallery artwork, a beautiful sunset?"

"Of course not. Besides, you can't own a sunset."

"Does that mean you don't desire it?"

"No. But that doesn't mean I don't want it either. Or, to use your words - I don't 'lack' it."

"Exactly. When you see a beautiful sunset, you feel you don't 'lack' it because...why?"

I thought about this for a moment. "Because I'm experiencing it."

Gabriel smiled. "That is desire."

"Are you saying that desire is experiencing something that's pleasant?"

"In part. That's why you don't throw away the new furniture or sports car that you just bought -- because you still desire it. Desire is all about feeling. Lack - or want, is all about having or not having something. Let's consider world peace. People want world peace because they perceive a lack of it. Then, let's say that all the people in the world find a way to live peaceably with one another, and everyone is happy with it. They still desire it. Whether or not world peace, or a beautiful sunset, new furniture, or new car is obtained, it is still desired. When you want -- or lack something, and the want is fulfilled, the want -- or lack, no longer exists. All that remains is desire."

"So," I spoke slowly, thinking about my words as I said them, "desire is more than an experience, it's a feeling."

"What's the difference?" Gabriel asked, throwing another curve ball at me. "How can you experience something without feeling it? How can you feel something without having some sort of experience associated with it?"

"Are you saying that desire is only something that you experience?"

"It's what you feel."

"So, using your words, one can say that God doesn't 'want' us to be happy or spiritually fulfilled," I said.

"God has everything because God is everything," Gabriel reminded me. "Since God is everything, God experiences all things. Experience is feeling. God doesn't want what God already has. God does, however, desire all things."

I thought about this several long moments. Finally, a peace -- an understanding began to fill me. That's when Gabriel smiled and vanished. Only the warmth of his smile remained.

Desire.

In a time of climbing bills... - by Rainspirite

Posted on Aug 7th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

In a time of climbing bills
loss of jobs
It is said the spirit too can get lost.

Lost
in the rubble of economic decay.

Is it lost ?
Or is it simply
waiting to be found?
Ready to begin anew at long last?

I hear great thanks chime,
reverberate
over the echoes and shadows
of despair.

Focused in the window of greenery.
How can one deny such beauty and grace?

Which sound do you hear today?
Which vision do you carry?

Stay with it awhile.
bask in its glory
Just for Today we give great thanks to all!

Do it just for today!

plant a seed

watch it grow

The Music of Spirit - by Ronnie C.

Posted on Aug 7th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

We've all had experiences of listening to a beautiful piece of music and being carried away on its melody or rhythm. Sometimes, when the piece ends we seem to "snap out of it" and say to ourselves, "What happened? Where was I?" or "I don't know where I went but it sure was great!" Regardless of the precise thoughts that brought us back to our physical worlds, we knew, without doubt, that we'd been or had gone somewhere; and that the "somewhere" certainly wasn't here. For me, this was what happened when I journeyed "to the other side." I don't want to call it a "Near Death Experience" (NDE) or a "life after death experience," because I learned - I experienced beyond any possible doubt, that life never ends. When life never ends, there's no such thing as "near death," or "life after death," or even "life after life." There's no after-life because there's no end to life. We've all heard this. We all mentally or intellectually understand this. But, how many of us wonder what really happens? How does it feel to exchange the physical form of life for an energy form? What is the experience like?

We are energy beings. It's just that our energies are condensed and vibrate at a "lower" level than spiritual energy. From my perspective, it's the same theory as light. We see a partial spectrum: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Yet, at the lower end of the light spectrum there's infrared and at the higher end there's ultraviolet. They exist and are as real as all the other wavelengths, but we don't see them. In the same manner, we can't hear the ultra low tones that whales can hear or the ultra high tones (whistles) that dogs can hear in the spectrum of sound. In the spectrum of spirituality, there's physical form (imbued with spiritual energy) and there's pure spiritual energy. We're much more aware of the physical form because we experience it through our five physical senses. It's only when we're conscious of "higher" vibrations that we become aware of spiritual energy.

So, my "journey to the other side" was simply being conscious of the shift of my energy vibrations. These journeys happen to people who achieve deep levels of meditation. They can also happen when you hear a piece of music, or whenever you experience a deep, peaceful bliss and you "go away somewhere." During these times, we're spiritually aware of the journey but, we may not be mentally conscious of the shift and of the journey. It's all about maintaining consciousness. This explanation takes away the "magic" and "mystery" of spiritual transcendence, but there's nothing magical or mystical about spirituality. We are spiritual beings and being spiritual is our natural state of being.

When my journey "to the other side" began, I heard music. As I lay in a hospital bed and gazed out at the pre-dawn gray of the world, I heard classical music. At first, it seemed so faint that I wasn't sure whether I heard it or only imagined it. So, I focused on it more intently and began to shut out the rest of the world. As the music grew louder, I thought it was being played over the intercom system. I silently applauded the hospital for having the good sense to play classical music and I also applauded their taste in it. It was like no music I'd ever heard - celestial, straining, and beautiful beyond description. It seemed to tug at my heart, so I followed it - with my heart.

We've all experienced tugs to our hearts; perhaps when we've held a sleeping baby or watched a kitten tussle with a ball of yarn, or gazed at a puppy through the window of a pet store. These "tugs" are the callings of our souls and are the energy wavelengths which we use to communicate with the spiritual nature of sentient beings and inanimate things around us. We communicate through resonance. Those vibrations that tug at our hearts (souls) are what vibrate within us, are generated by each of us, and characterize in part, the make-up of our souls/spirits. If we find ourselves responding in anger to someone else's anger, it's because our vibrations resonate with the vibrations of anger. If we relate to and respond to vibrations of harmony or compassion, it's because that's the resonance and vibration, or energy "wavelength" of our consciousness. Whatever it is - however it is structured or composed, it is ever-changing.
We respond to what we resonate with. We resonate with whatever we carry within us. This is why it's possible to be instantly attracted to, or repulsed by someone we've never before met. This is why it's possible to walk into a room or a home and sense the negative or positive energies within it, or to begin a course or series of actions and then sense or feel that they just aren't right. Many times, we have no proof or explanations to validate our feelings but we know, without doubt, they are true.

We are receptors as well as transmitters of energies. We are energy beings and we respond to whatever energies resonate with us. If we experience a negative situation and react to it with more negativity - even if we do something constructive (such as clean the house or chop wood to blow off steam), we are still transmitting and continuing to generate energies of negativity. If we take a moment to love and bless the food we are getting ready to eat, or the clothes we're getting ready to wear, or the car we're getting ready to drive, those energies of love will bless us again in return because we resonate with the energies they contain.

The energies that we maintain become our consciousness. They are, in a sense, the music of our spirit and the song of our soul. Our consciousness is our identity - that sense of self within ourselves; the eye of the I. When we physically die, we leave behind physical matter, but we take ourselves - our identities - our consciousness with us. The composition of our consciousness is always our choice. If we spend our lives focused on fear, responding to it, and dwelling in it, then fear is what we'll experience because it is what we resonate with. We all know that we can't run from our problems. So, what makes us think we can run from our fears when we transition? Likewise, if we spend our lives focused on love, then we'll experience a transition of love, because we recognize and resonate with the energies of love; they are what comprise the content of our consciousness.

So, look within to your own consciousness. If you feel peace and joy, strive to maintain an abundance of it. If you feel disquiet or discomfort, seek to change the composition of your consciousness. Focus on love. Focus on coming to know yourself - with love. Focus on the music of your spirit and let your soul sing.

Regardless of the Choices... - by Nathan Anderson

Posted on Aug 11th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
Regardless of the choices we make, we will be used as a negative or positive example to enhance the overall wellbeing of the world. In certain moments, we make choices that may negatively impact others or ourselves. During such moments, we will be utilized as an example of what not to do. Although we will not always influence others with our negative actions or behaviors, when the timing is right, God will place us in an environment with someone who needs to learn a lesson from our negative choices. Aligning with this concept, in certain moments, we also make choices that may positively impact others or ourselves. During such moments, when someone needs to learn a lesson from our positive choices, we will be utilized as an example of what should be done.

We have the choice on how we want to influence others. We can act as a negative example and help teach others how not to live. Or, we can act as a positive example and help teach others how to make life-bettering choices. By making negative choices, we will cause detriment to others and ourselves. Our negative choices, however, will still contribute to the greater good of this world because people will learn by our example that unhealthy choices cause pain and suffering to themselves and others. Seeing the detriment that we have inflicted upon ourselves and others will motivate those learning through us to make choices that will yield them more appealing outcomes. They will, as a result, be better equipped to serve as a positive example to others.

By making positive choices, we glorify others and ourselves. Our positive choices will, therefore, also contribute to the greater good of this world. Seeing the glory that we have bestowed upon others and ourselves will inspire those learning through our example to make choices that will allow them to realize glorified living, as well.

Making positive choices fosters a win-win scenario. We win because we glorify ourselves through the choices we make. Others win because we grant goodness upon them, and they learn the value of positive living. In contrast, making negative choices fosters a lose-win scenario. We lose because we cause harm to certain others and ourselves. However, specific individuals win through our negative decisions because they gain the wisdom of how not to live.

Just as we are placed in environments with others who need to learn lessons from us, we are placed in environments with others who will fulfill our learning needs. We may also be placed in environments where we teach ourselves through our own positive and negative examples. This is a form of trial and error that we employ to learn what types of choices do or do not align with our current and/or desired lifestyles. When we need to learn lessons, we will encounter the appropriate circumstances that will cultivate the necessary learning. To maximize the value of the lesson, however, we must pay close attention to the lesson to be learned and absorb the knowledge and wisdom that accompany the moment.

Much education exists without intentions of the teacher to teach or the student to learn. We must, consequently, make a conscious effort to be aware of the infinite lessons around us and teach others through our positive, rather than negative, ways. Adopting a lifestyle of healthy choices will help us ensure that we are displaying the right example during unsuspected educational opportunities. We will inevitably be placed in environments where we do not intend to teach so we need to choose whether we want to be placed in environments in which we teach through negative example or environments in which we teach through positive example. Would we prefer to inflict harm upon others and ourselves, and teach to others through our negative ways; or would we prefer to bestow goodness upon others and ourselves through our positive ways?

May The Human Soul Rise - by Katherine B.

Posted on Aug 15th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

Life seemed to run in cycles that stemmed from roots and stuck like clots.

It seemed to fulfill the symbols of the complex Celtic knots.

My soul revealed to me at a young age that providence and my own resolution must work in synergy,

If the sacred peace and love I dreamt of were to become reality.

I was not prepared for the violence and the rage.

The savage reactions of those whose conscience and minds would do anything to violate,

another's truthful essence if it got in their own way.

Yet it taught me I had gumption and undaunted bravery that could not be swayed.

And through it all I knew that angels carried me.

Even in the darkest hours empyreal radiance flowed from the heavens free.

So, now with cycles broken, and freedom mine to create,

I've learned that the soul's substance calls for fortitude and faith.

The past is gone and the future unknown my place is here and now.

Only in this place Love descends and all possibilities are allowed.

And if from the heart with veracious zeal we let gratitude ever sing,

The valiance of the human soul may live in peace and its true nature, Love, will ring.

Speak Not of Love - by Ronnie C.

Posted on Aug 18th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

I once approached a Master
who sat quietly on the floor;
a tunic and a turban
were all the Master wore.

I said, "After many lifetimes
I've finally come to see
that Love is not an emotion.
It's the only way to BE."

The Master sat in silence
and gently clasped his hands,
then spoke one word to mystify -
he softly whispered, "And?"

I did not linger in his presence.
In confusion I withdrew
to re-assess all that I felt
and everything I knew.

I'd first hoped that the Master -
a Divinely Loving man,
would give to me his wisdom
and share his "Master Plan."

I had come to see that the Master
had a tremendous sense of wit
and laughing with mirth at spirit,
was his approach to it.

So, was he laughing from his prank
to send me on a fruitless chase
to search for an answer I'd already found
by dwelling in God's grace?

But a Master will not cause one harm
or limit free will of choice
or in any manner restrict one's growth
or deny another's voice.

So, I journeyed far in search of Love
and sought all truth of Being
and through it my horizons grew
and expanded my scope of seeing.

I found that on my spiritual road
there are many paths that turn;
not to confuse or lead me astray
but to show me new things to learn.

And so I've learned, and so I've grown
and so, I've traveled far.
I've learned that all things shouldn't BE,
but only that things ARE.

And in the midst of this spiritual way
I've felt Love for all that IS
transcending joy, transcending peace,
transcending hope and bliss.

I have no words to name the Love
or to speak of how it feels,
but I know in the core of spirit's depth
it's the EVERY thing that's real.

And if ever again I find the Master,
of Love, I will not speak.
For it's a mystery that can't be told.
It is Truth of all we seek.

The Probability of Possibilities – by Ronnie C.

Posted on Aug 19th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

I have recently read that belief isn't as much an acceptance of what can be proven, but rather, an acceptance of what can't be disproved. This is the Shift. In this, we are shedding the constraints of limitation ("I won't believe it without proof") and we're stepping into the limitlessness of possibility ("I see no reason not to believe it"). In a sense, it can be thought of as a shift from rigidly clinging to only what is probable to a looser acceptance of what is possible.

From this perspective, the Shift isn't something that is simply happening; it's something we're creating.

I like to view the Shift as a portal - a doorway of sorts, to an alternate vibrational frequency or "higher level" of awareness. So, in that sense, the Shift can be viewed as some thing that already exists that we are heading towards. Yet, doorways serve no purpose and have no use unless we walk through them. So, our creation of the Shift isn't that we make the doorways (which have always existed), but that we allow our consciousness to see, understand, and use their existence. We aren't creating the doorways but we are creating their functionality.

I make a distinction between consciousness and awareness. To me, consciousness is what the mind or intellect can logically grasp and assimilate. It is a thought-driven knowledge of our world and ourselves based on the data we receive through our five senses. Awareness is the inherent, limitless knowledge of the soul without words, without thought. It is an awareness of Being and of infinity. It is an inherent knowledge of the things beyond our conscious comprehension. Spiritual growth is simply removing the filters or veils of separation between spiritual awareness and intellectual consciousness. It is stepping through the portals from one realm to another. It is the Shift.

Humanity has always been shifting. Each person shifts at his own speed, in his own way, in his own time. But, what makes the Shift seem so real to us now is that we're becoming consciously aware of our conscious awareness. Science - quantum physics - is helping our consciousness and is greatly speeding up the process. Explorations of the sub-atomic realm are allowing us to perceive that which has always been un-perceive-able. To those who still cling to the "I won't believe it without proof," science is now offering the proof. One step at a time, we're being drawn through the doorways.

Many years ago, I wrote a "tidbit" of philosophy that says: "To deny the laws of physics is to deny the existence of God." When I wrote those words, I had no idea just how true they were. For me, the measure of truth is how well a belief endures the test of time. Does something remain as true or sound today as it did years, decades, or centuries ago? If so, then for me - for the time, it is truth. In this case (of my philosophy), the truth is even more true for me today than it was years ago when I first wrote it. Yes, even philosophers can continue to learn from their own words. But, over the years, as I have more fully embraced my truth, I have battled what I identify as disappointment - a "let down" so-to-speak. For me, I can equate this disappointment as a type of fear. It isn't fear as in "terror" or what's "scary," but fear as in not wanting to let go of what's been comfortable and consciously accepted all my life. What lies behind the door that I'm about to open? Once I step through it into the unknown, will I ever find my way back to the known?

For most of my life, I bought into the mass consciousness that God was some sort of perfect, omnipotent, all-powerful, all-present Being. Outside of myself. Something to aim for. But, as I began to remove filters and walk through doorways and journey on my Shift, I began to hear what my soul (my spiritual awareness) was telling me, and what quantum physics is starting to prove and is starting to be incapable of disproving. God isn't just in everything, God IS everything. God is the existence of existence and nothing doesn't exist.

Existence exists.
Nothing doesn't exist.
Well, DUH!

Contemplating these simple concepts is akin to contemplating infinity. I have spent years contemplating infinity and can spend many more years doing so. Infinity is, after all, infinite. The "nothing" concept of infinity is easy for me to explain. (Some could even argue that I have spent years contemplating nothing). We, as humans, only have a concept of nothing simply because we don't (or can't) perceive everything. So, if we perceive a void between any two points, perhaps it isn't because there's nothing there. It may be only because we don't perceive anything being there. My spiritual sponsor once told me that if the nucleus of an atom were enlarged to the size of a basketball, then the closest orbiting electron would be 30 miles away. Thirty MILES! What, in God's name is in all that space between the nucleus and the electron? If God IS all things, then the void isn't empty. It's full of God. Nothing doesn't exist.

Perhaps the space is full of parallel universes. This is something that quantum physics is starting to explore. Tests and experiments have been conducted over and over and over again, all with the same result; our known world at the sub-atomic level is being "interfered with" or impacted by another universe (or other universes) that are parallel to ours. Does this sound far-fetched? How many basketballs can you squeeze into a circle with a 30 mile radius?

Just think of the possibilities.

Soul Mission Manifestation (Part A) - by Coralie Mitchell

Posted on Aug 20th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

Most people have a belief system that supports the idea that they cannot achieve their dreams in this world. They tell themselves if they were more wealthy or had the right connections, they would have the means to accomplish the impossible - the fantastic. So inevitably they lock their true passion away from prying eyes and hide their sacred gifts in a gold box within their heart to protect it from ridicule.

But it is time to open the box now and let our gifts shine their light. The essence of the gift we each have is our own presence - our being. The gift(s) you have connects you to all others and all things around you. If your reality is of your own making, then you will have no opposition, except that which you have chosen to experience. There is no risk in stepping out; there is only faith and trust to step into. Although your mind would have you believe otherwise!

Let me lead you down a path of delightful possibility, where the road is completely unique to you and yet has familiar crossroads, which all may experience. These crossroads and epiphanies occur whenever you are ready to step into them. They give you the experience of a new vibration and set of choices which are unique to you, but provide a framework for expression of your gifts which others receive.

The first crossroad or epiphany in manifesting your Soul Mission or Purpose is represented by the number 5. This number represents your passion and heart, which is your inner center and balance. Through expression of your heart you are able to communicate your inner truth. This takes some practice to achieve as the mind gets in the way and tries to reason with itself or dominate the situation. There is a lot of confusion as one struggles to believe and keep a grasp on the inner truth one feels during peaks of enlightenment and happiness. During ‘dark' times of mental struggle the inner light fades behind the veil and pain can take hold as the mind needs proof that the gifts still exist. Until proof shows itself, the mind will self sabotage to prevent you stepping into trust - for when you do, the mind has no power and ego is but a little train that runs out of steam. Proof never appears...faith steps in when you forget to look for proof and suddenly miracles appear everywhere! Then the cycle of the mind occurs again "Wow! Look at that proof!". The focus is not upon faith, trust or inner light - it is now upon physical proof. So the vibration of the 5 is this eternal struggle to have faith in one's own inner truth and divine gifts, despite physical, emotional or intellectual opposition within duality.

It is a fact that people are at this moment awakening to their purpose during this lifetime and there is limitless opportunity for manifestation of what you wish for. The ability to create is off the chart and cannot be fathomed. Please try to grasp that anything you focus on for more then 7 seconds will be experienced and manifested in many forms of expression within your reality.

So at this crossroad of the Number 5 (we can even call it a gateway) it is essential that all aspects of you (all vibrations) circulate around your inner truth and passion. Your passion can change expression and be transformed through experience, but it must always be observed and present within your life. You do literally take your work home with you when living your passion, because it is YOU. All you need to do is stay within the present moment, activate your love and observe (feel) the light within your heart. This self belief and self love is the glue which allows pure intention to manifest your divine will and purpose.

Imagine the 5 within your heart and as you live with this vibration, it attracts other states of experience to your reality, so your soul mission expressed through the heart can be manifested. Humans find it very difficult to experience everything at once, so it is easy if things are in linear order, but I have realized that manifesting a spiritual mission needs ascending and descending vibrations in order to eventuate. It is similar to bouncing from the world of Man to the world of Spirit and so on. These aspects or vibrations which I am labeling as numbers come to you as a crossroad which precedes a choice. Once you have made the choice and feel the experience that choice gives you, the crossroad has turned into an epiphany as you have unraveled and explored that aspect of you. It doesn't matter which path you take, as long as you choose to step forward in a direction and are willing to experience. All paths lead to the same destination.

Breaking Free - by Leslie Smith

Posted on Aug 22nd, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

Breaking free from societal viewpoints and beliefs, which are oft considered the blueprint or rulebook on how to live your life, is not an easy thing to consider. But if you are worn out from not following your own truth, know that it is time to make a new choice. When you break free from what is considered the normal practices, and listen more to what your own Self is saying to you; when you follow how your own Self is directing you; when you, with intent follow the directions in which your heart is leading you, you will find unceasing joy and fulfillment.

Perhaps you have been on the same road for a long time now, trying to fit in, trying to adjust to your environment, trying to make everyone happy - every one that is, but yourself. Maybe you are just now noticing that you are not happy with the way things are traveling.

This is a pivotal point in your life. You can now choose to keep driving along this same road of life, or you can choose to take the exit onto another road. If you choose the other road, there will always be more roads to choose from. You must follow the path in which your heart leads you.

The hardest choices to make are usually the most necessary.

Cultivate leadership within yourself. Sow the seeds of freedom within yourself. Do not look unto others to find great spiritual meaning. Look within yourself first and foremost.

Break Free.

In the Light,

Leslie Smith

Keeping Up - by Nathan Anderson

Posted on Aug 26th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

When you stop trying to keep up - that's when you get ahead. When you try to keep up, you place excessive focus on others actions and behaviors. This takes focus away from that which you need to do for yourself. Learn from others, but don't obsess about them. Find your strengths and your passions - allow them to drive you. Don't resist that which you truly love simply because you haven't seen it done that way before or because you fear the perception of others. Live as yourself and you will succeed, you will earn respect, you will get ahead.

Getting ahead is attainable when you clearly identify that which makes you happy. Keeping up with others is tedious and often leads you along a path that is not meant for you, yielding undue discomfort and stress. Rather than trying to keep up with others, look to them for guidance and lessons, but refrain from meticulously modeling your approach, and your life, after theirs because factors for success vary for everyone. Success variables differ dramatically from those of even your closest friend, family member or colleague. You may desire the success of a well know business mogul, celebrity, or athlete and therefore expend all of your energy and resources on obtaining a similar level of success. However, to maximize success you must first understand your individual definition of success.

Defined success exists in many different forms and combinations of forms, including wealth, fame, education, and acceptance, etc, etc, etc. Ultimately, success is defined by a combination of variables that promotes ongoing contentedness in life. Being truly satisfied with your life symbolizes the purest form of success. Just because someone else is wealthy and happy doesn't mean that wealth will make you happy. It could contribute to your happiness, but doesn't serve as the sole definitive factor. Just because someone else is well educated and happy doesn't mean that education will make you happy. Again, it may contribute, but doesn't define it. Fame makes some people happy, but that doesn't mean that fame will make you happy.

From an alternate perspective, you may encounter a person that is poor and happy, but that doesn't mean being poor will make you happy. Or, you may encounter a person who is disabled and happy, but that doesn't mean a disability will make you happy. Maybe being poor and disabled would enhance your level of happiness, but people typically do not positively correlate these variables with one another. It's also possible to be wealthy, accepted, educated, and famous, yet lack contentment. This illustrates the idea that you cannot mimic the success of others simply by trying to keep up with their levels of wealth, education, fame, etc. Get ahead in your life by designing and following your exclusive recipe of factors for personal success. When you are happy, everything falls into place as it should. You will take the lead on the most important path, the path that was meant for you.

See the Now - by Leslie Smith

Posted on Aug 27th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

"There will be time to do that later. " "I will do that after I get this done." " Maybe later I will (fill in the blank).""As soon as I finish (fill in the blank), THEN, I can (fill in the blank)."

How many things are you putting off for a later time, a later date? How many strings do you have that are untied? How many things that are important to you, are you putting on the back burner, and what is it that is putting them there?

There is only the present moment. There is only now. The only sure thing in this physical life is now. There is no past, because it is now gone. There is no future, because it hasn't arrived. But there is always right now.

While you are here on this earth, you are here to experience. If you do not experience, then what else are you doing? What kinds of experiences are you having? What are the most important things in your life? Who are the most important people in your life?

Take the time now, in this very moment, to stop putting things off for ‘later'. Do not miss out on opportunities that come your way for growth of the Spirit, of Your Spirit. Sometimes we even miss messages meant for us, because we are not paying attention. Begin to pay attention to the NOW.

This isn't a message based on fear. This isn't a message to tell you that you don't have much time. But it is a message to let you know that this physical life is indeed short. This is a message to let you know that there may be things in this particular life that you are to take part in, and make peace with. This is all a part of growth. There is indeed a reason that you are here on this planet, right now. What is the reason?

This life has been given to you as a gift. Take care of yourself NOW. See the gift that has been given to you. See the endless chances that you have now to experience truth, love, peace, and light. See the NOW at every second.

Blessings & Light,

Leslie

Soul Mission Manifestation (Part B) - by Coralie Mitchell

Posted on Aug 28th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com

So now that you've found your passion and you are nurturing it within, let's look at the cycle of bringing it physically into the world. Many people at this time are receiving big pushes as their life reaches a critical point where they can no longer ignore their life's purpose. But they don't know what to do after they make the self-realization. So this is written with those people in mind who are looking for their next step.

Please remember that these numbers are certain vibration stages you may experience and that as you walk through the learning and development process you will ascend and descend through the vibrations, similar to jumping floors and then backtracking in an elevator. You may even find yourself in all aspects as once, but I have found that the steps or gateways are mastered consecutively.

You may currently be at any stage of the cycle, but let us start at number 1 for logic's sake. You feel the passion and you know what you want to do with your life. The way you approach others and the way you express yourself need to be observed so that hearts intent and personal expression are aligned. The ego of the mind is what is probably most on the spot here, as you try to identify the ego within and how it is expressed. The number 1 represents the physical awareness of the belief systems in place and ‘getting real' about ‘you'. Its time to be honest and take a good look at your life and what you spend you energy on in order to really understand yourself from a higher viewpoint.

Questions to ask:

- How does my daily routine support my life passion?
- Which activities keep my passion moving through me?
- What do I value in life?

Foundations for change and putting your dream into action are considered here and therefore set into motion, as the following 2 steps align your mind with your hearts passion. But in order to move onto the next stage you must develop self belief and courage.

Next is the number 2 aspect and this involves awareness of confrontations within the mind and negative feelings within the body. Negative thoughts and fears can sabotage people at this stage from manifesting their passion, so it's necessary to observe negative tendencies and nurture yourself, as you would your best friend. As you move through cycle after cycle, this stage can bring up core fears associated with your heart chakra. In fact it may get harder the second or third time round as you strip layer after layer from your human mask. It's so important to associate with people who uplift and carry you through this stage, as people have a huge impact on our negative belief systems (we don't just create them ourselves). Take each moment at a time and when you feel energy or think a thought that does not hold the vibration of your passion, observe and raise the vibration mentally. This will result in a higher energetic vibration felt through the body, which will support more divine thoughts and lead you to number 3.

Questions to ask:

- What am I afraid of and is it logical?
- Have recent changes in lifestyle resulted in feeling blockages (e.g. diet, routine)
- What strategies are available to uplift me through this phase (e. g. meditation, affirmations)

This crossroad of the 3 is the exploration of positive mindsets (belief systems), which realize your dream into manifestation. Previous mindsets which were negative and sabotaging would have been perceived during the 2 phase. Now is the time to replace these systems of thinking with affirmations and supportive thoughts which carry you through any turbulent waters. As you transform your negative mind into a positive, dynamic and strong source of inspiration you will attract people who will match this vibration. A 3 mind is a more powerful and clear conduit of energy transmission then a 2 mind. During this phase you will begin to see miracles occur to support your goals and synchronicity will occur at an exponential rate as your creative ability is enhanced.

Questions to ask:

- Is my mind chattering? What does it say and what can I consciously change?
- What drama in my life accentuates negative thoughts and how do I switch the drama off?
- How can I express any inspirational and creative thoughts I have?

You will also find that your mind is aligning to the divine mind of the 6, where you receive a flow of inspirational thoughts from your higher self. These inspirations serve as a catalyst to propel you into the world of your passion and trust is needed to follow them. You are creating your reality now, as the mind can access a state of harmony and faith in the unforeseeable. This stage also involves people but there is now an exchange of knowledge and awareness between parties, which serves to move old energy and make way for new inspiration. If you have an unfortunate event occur, you now have the supportive belief systems to move through the drama and recover in a delightful way. Trust in the now moment and the realization that ‘everything is as it should be' is imperative during this stage, as you extend towards others and make yourself vulnerable to life. You open up like a rose and experience the ebb and flow of energy exchange. Thus you create a web of networks within the community to support you to the next step.

Things to do:

- Tell people about your passion and what you do, even if you haven't done it yet and would like to. This helps to stimulate manifestation, which occurs rapidly after the first time you say it out loud to another person.
- Step out into the community and reach out to groups/individuals. Share your truth and people will support you. There will be a meeting of like- minds.
- Create physical things associated with your passion. Use your hands to paint, draw or write - anything which accentuates your inner truth and encourages your growth.

Now is the time to look at your external environment, as it is the crossroad of the 9. The will to align your inner passion and your external reality is very strong. Ambition and ideals come to the fore and it is a main stage of manifestation, as you physically take steps to perpetuate and live your passion. Noticing and organizing the tools that you use such as computer, business cards and working space are important here. You will want to be aware of your creative space and make sure that your outer reality compliments your inner passion, as your tools are extensions of your inner state of being. This process assists self-realization and cements positive belief systems created in aspect 3. You also work with other people in a role model capacity, assisting them to believe in themselves and uphold cherished values.

Questions to ask:

- How can I organize my external environment to be efficient and supportive of my passion?
- Am I being selective with my energy? What or who is a waste of my energy?
- What feng shui practices can influence my working space to accentuate my abilities?

The next phase is the 8 and involves stepping out of your comfort zone. You assert your independence as you trust in your abilities and find an inner strength that comes from deep within. You no longer need the support of others, although it is wonderfully appreciated and valued. You already have your own support network within your reality (your mind, heart and external reality), therefore the superficial neediness you used to require of others has dissipated. You can succeed in whatever choice you make now, as you have built a solid foundation for your own growth. As you step forward into your passion and release it to the world, future probabilities and viewpoints are available to you and help you to choose wisely.

The next crossroad experienced is the 7, where you are experiencing an exchange of information, often unconsciously via your environment. It means you will be learning from others and situations and seeing the world in a way which facilitates your learning. As you absorb this knowledge, you also give out knowledge and wisdom via teaching people, expressing yourself in everything you do and through your aura. Teaching others is a main desire during this crossroad, but a teacher will also learn from their students. Often towards the end of this stage there is some form of ‘uh-oh' or ‘ah ha!', where you have to step back, reassess your identity and make changes in some areas. This is due to a new level of awareness of one's ego. And so the cycle is started again at number 1.

Note - When you extend yourself and express, you can receive as you have made room for new knowledge and wisdom. There are moments when you are extremely creative and you are on a roller coaster ride; not knowing where you will end up. Then other times you may feel idle and think that you went wrong somewhere. It's very important to remember that when everything goes quiet and introspective, it indicates a physical creative explosion will follow.

Emerge Anew – by Leslie Smith

Posted on Aug 29th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
Has there ever been something going on within your life in which you say over and over to yourself, and sometimes even complain out loud to others, ‘Why Me? What did I do to deserve this?'

Has there ever been an obstacle put in your path, and you just fell to the floor distraught, not knowing what to do about it? Has there ever been anything that happened that you thought you would never ever get through?

Did you eventually get through it? How did you do it? Are you still stuck inside of something and don't know how to get out?

I know that I personally have had my fair share of troubles, blocks, and train wrecks thrown at me. At the time during which these things had their place in my life, my outlook on things was entirely different, however, they shaped the person that I am today and I would not be where I am right now without them. I truly believe that weakness can make you stronger. When you really feel like you are dry of hope, when you fall to the ground in anguish, when your heart hurts and you can't take it anymore, that is the moment in which you can rise up and become strong.

During my younger years, up until I was 30, I felt like I had trouble after trouble haunting me. I felt as if I must have done something awfully wrong in a past life to get me to this point, because no matter where I turned, something sprouted up to block my way. Something always seemed to be there, waiting for me to have a moment of calm in my life, just so it could disrupt that feeling. I felt as if I must be the most unlucky person in the world. If the straws were to be picked, I always got the short one. Little did I know, that those things were shaping me into the strong woman that I am today. Little did I know that by getting through those things, it has led me here. Little did I know that I would die at the age of 30 and be re-born into someone completely new.

"Die? How did you die, you are still here?" Many of you may be questioning.

I did not die a physical death, but a death of the old me. Funny, because all while I was growing up, I really did fear turning the age of 30, as I thought I would die before that day arrived. How true it was indeed! My old self died, and the new me emerged into life.

I began to see that I was responsible for absolutely everything in my life that I had been thrown. Absolutely everything! I had no reason to ask why me, I had no reason to blame others any longer. I was not the victim, except of my own thoughts. My thoughts had victimized me, and yet, I was responsible for being the victim. No longer would I allow that to enter into my frame of reference. No longer would I ever see others the same way. No longer would I allow myself to fall into the trap of self-pity. Many people do not understand the thought process here. They ask, "How can you be to blame for (insert thing here)?" Well, the truth of the matter is, I have created this life of mine. I have the free will to be, do, and act as I choose. If I choose to be the victim, then I am creating a story for myself that I do not like. If I choose to be free from victimization, then I am creating for myself a great novel! By taking the responsibility of all things that occur in my life, I know that I can change them to be any way that I wish for them to be!

When things come my way, I can go back to those times in which I was the weakest, and draw upon my own strength, the strength that the Holy Spirit has instilled into my life. When I am walking hand in hand with the Holy Spirit, I am being guided with peace, with love, and with life.

Blessings and Light,
Leslie

You are the Gatekeeper - by Todd Schaefer

Posted on Aug 30th, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
You Have the Power

Did you know that you are the Gatekeeper of your thoughts?

You have the power to choose which thoughts you will entertain. You have the power to have a healthy self-image and believe good things about yourself. Thoughts that do not feel good to you are not worthy of your attention. Do not entertain those thoughts. Entertain ‘good feeling' thoughts. There is nothing more important in your life than that you feel good.

Choose New Thoughts

You do not have to struggle in order to move beyond a challenge. You need not ‘overcome' any thoughts. You can move through challenges gracefully, and with acceptance of your present situation. There is no need to create conflict, additional hardship or fear. Simply choose new thoughts. Choose new thoughts as soon as you notice the thoughts that don't feel good to you, and then think on them and feel the new good thoughts.

Struggle Must Be Chosen

Life may occasionally present challenging scenarios, but 'struggle' must be chosen, and fears must be remembered as a substitution for your real self, whether done unconsciously or consciously. Often times, the degree of resistance or internal struggle that we feel is determined unconsciously and involuntarily before we are even presented with the situation. Many so called 'struggles' and even 'triumphs' are simply delusional battles between the ego mind and the person who owns it, played out in an externalized scenario.

Getting Ego's Approval

The mental emotional resistance patterns that tempt us to react instead of accept is called the ego mind. It's the built-in survival mechanism we all have which is designed to protect us. The ego-mind resists us when it feels its sense of survival is threatened. This resistance is the ego's way of saying, "You must get my approval before I will allow you to go any farther." It then proceeds to hold us back by making us believe that we must appease its programming in order for us to 'triumph,' as it claims we will do. Ego likes to convince us to 'overcome' instead of detach and withdraw its power.

The ego mind's influence is in motion when we see situations as a struggle or when we make things into a problem. It doesn't want us to accept things as they are. Ego's goal is for us to appease it, to put energy into it, and if possible, to get us excited about the problems it offers us. If we not only identify with it but also enjoy the problem, issue, or situation (i.e, complaining) - ego wins again. The reason ego's win is stronger if we enjoy the drama is because ego will function more easily within us if we are unaware that we are happily peddling its agenda. Ego's survival is then not threatened, and we're not aware of its control.

How Ego Prevents Us from Achieving Our Goals

Don't be deceived by ego's persuasion that by struggling or overcoming you are accomplishing some grand mission or something special in accordance to your goals (as if the rewards will be greater because you struggled). You may still accomplish your goals. You may still work hard to achieve them and realize a job well done, but your choice to struggle, your choice to limit your choices, your choice to dig deeper into the problems to try to figure them out is exactly what increases ego's control over you. The goal of spiritual growth is to dis-identify and to not struggle. The goal is to let go, to step back - to surrender; to allow the flow of life to move through you with ease.

A life lived in struggle is one where the person's story owns them, instead of the person owning the story. Another example would be allowing a person's career progress to determine how they feel about themselves instead of allowing how they feel about themselves to determine their career progress. These ego identification examples will obviously lead to more self-defeat if the results are dependant upon the ego-identity. In other words, a person may believe himself to be moving forward towards a goal with great resolve despite adversity (which may be true to an extent), but what is also happening is that the ego mind is validating itself throughout the trials. In other words, while achieving your goals, don't fall victim to strengthening the ego-identification in you.

We negotiate constantly with ego's agenda as we navigate through life and when we allow it to determine our limitations. The extent to which we are controlled by ego's agenda equals the degree to which we choose to identify with it. The more of an identification we hold, the more tightly ego holds us in its grasp. Through ego, the worse our career is going, the worse we are feeling about ourselves.

How We Lose the Present Moment

Did you know that ego's goal for us is to lose the present moment? Ego wants us to bring our past pain with us to create pain in our future. That way, it ensures that whatever we accomplish, it will be through struggle. Our intentions are strong, but our conscious presence is weak. If we allow ego to cover up the present moment in this way, we prevent ourselves from exercising our spiritual power. If the ego mind accomplishes this, it controls us. With enough time passing under ego's influence, it can subtly draw more of our presence into unconsciousness (i.e, reactions, defending, justifying, condemning, complaining). This is what it means to be 'unconscious.' We may have financial power or political power or physical power (all externals), but being unconscious is a lack of spiritual power (internal). Ego's unconscious control over us makes our reactions automatic and predictable.

Power in the Present

The only true power we have is in the present moment. By exercising our divine right as the Gatekeeper of our experience, we determine how conscious or unconscious our experience will be. Will we allow the ego mind to control us by keeping us lost in past pains or future worries? Will we react or defend? Will we hide behind platitudes and other conditioned, automatic reactions? It's our choice. As we find ways to be present and express our joy and true nature, as we lose the agenda and reclaim our power, we become the Gatekeepers. The more we practice being here and now and not dominated by our ‘unfortunate situations,' the less likely ego will trick us into moving into the past and future where we can have no effect, and thus, lose our All Powerful Presence and Infallible Spiritual Power.

Love and Accept Ego

Ego is a part of us, an outdated aspect struggling to keep up as we evolve. Watch the ego's programming in you - love and accept it as a part of you, be aware of it - but don't engage it. Instead of negotiating with ego via struggling to overcome, consider becoming the Gatekeeper. Before your ego-mind convinces you that you must 'work through' the resistance it wants you to face, that some old issue is slowing you down or has some influence over your future, before ego convinces you that you are limited, afraid, incapable, shy or unable to achieve something, close that gate, Gatekeeper! Before the ego-mind persuades you to react or defend or manipulate or convince you that a justifiable action is helping you to 'move ahead' - STOP.

Choose new thoughts. Choose positive thoughts. Notice how the positive thoughts feel to you. You are the Gatekeeper of your experience, and you can experience as much joy or as much struggle as you wish. You decide whether ego stays inside of the gate or not. Be the one who finds the gift in every moment through graceful acceptance and non-struggle. Be the Gatekeeper of your thoughts, and watch a new world reveal itself to you. You are powerful!

Your Amazing Dreams - by Leslie Smith

Posted on Aug 31st, 2008 by Soulsolutionshealing.com : Empowerment Sanctuary & Community for Spiritual Consciousness Growth Soulsolutionshealing.com
No matter what life you were born into, whether you be rich or poor, no matter the color of your skin, no matter where you live, you have had at one time in your life or another, a dream. Sometimes, we have many of them going on all at one time. I'm not speaking of the kind of dreams that you have as you fall deep into REM sleep. I'm talking about the dreams that come from the very core of your soul. I'm talking about those dreams that you have for yourself, for your life, for your future. Dreams are built upon passion. Passion comes from your Spirit.

Do you remember being a child? As children, we love to explore different things. Everything is brand new. Everything is a discovery. Ask any child that you know about his or her dreams, what he or she wants to be in this life, and I bet you that without hesitation, they will have an answer for you. They are filled with wide eyed wonderment and excitement. They are absolutely, positively 100% sure of these dreams that they share with you. Their dreams can change on a daily basis, or even minute by minute. One minute they may want to be a superhero, the other a race car driver. One minute they may want to be a princess, and the other, an artist. Children have no fear of anything because it hasn't been instilled into them at this point.

Then something happens. Inevitably, at one point or another, as we continue to grow older, there will be someone who laughs at those dreams, someone who tells us it is not possible, someone who tries to take that dream away from us, be it a person that you know or don't know, by your living circumstances, or even by watching something on television. Some of us are fortunate to have people in their lives as we grow up that try to keep these dreams alive. A lot of us though, fall into a trap that we didn't know was there in the first place. It is the trap of fear. Fear is thrown at us from every direction. Our minds accept these ideas of fear, become used to these ideas of fear, and we begin to live our lives worrying about what will happen next, what won't happen next, what if I'm not good enough to do that, and the list of fear-based thoughts could go on for miles.

Our dreams though, even if there are now cracks in them, are still always there, sneaking up on us, shaking us up, and trying to get us back up on our feet. When we really have something that we are passionate about, we are filled with excitement.

The fear can easily set in. Fear is a roadblock. Fear wants you to stay put. Fear is afraid of any kind of movement, and kind of change. But you can overcome this. You can erase this fear with one word. That word is ‘Choice'. Yes, it may seem tough, but it is a lot easier than you may think. Choose to follow that dream, whatever it may be. Don't listen to the Fear, no matter where or whom it is coming from. Choose to CANCEL the fear.

You are stronger that you imagine yourself to be, and you can overcome whatever fear you have that is blocking the path for you. When you choose to cancel the fear, you will see that the path has been cleared away. You can breathe again. You can take a step forward now, towards that amazing dream of yours.

In the Light,
Leslie
